Cats love the food. Complete lack of chicken in any form, including chicken fat, keeps them from having diarrhea. It's a truly limited ingredient food, unlike a lot of others on the market that "sneak" multiple protein sources in. It's way more affordable than Orijen and that ilk.

My cat loves this food. After trying so many and failing her with her allergies this one as really helped and she has not broke out. So happy

I have a formerly dumpster diving feral cat that is allergic to all poultry products. He scratches up his back, loses his hair and is just generally miserable. I did some research into feline allergy triggers and one of the more common ones is a sensitivity to poultry! And what do most cat foods contain? That's right, chicken and chicken by products. After much experimentation (and a lot of failures), I've found that this kitty kibble works very well for him. It's reasonably priced, he likes the taste and it doesn't trigger any skin/stomach reactions. He now gets this kibble and the Fancy Feast Flaked Fish and Shrimp Feast wet food (also poultry free) and he's a happy kitty!

I have two large male cats who are both big eaters. Although they have both been fed a good quality, veterinarian recommended, pet store specialty kibble forever, one cat has been pulling out his hair, literally, for several months. Poor Toby Cat had become almost bald! He required continuous steroid shots in an attempt to control this problem. The other cat is a mostly Maine Coon with a bushy coat, which was rather scruffy and dull in appearance, despite brushing. I researched the entire cat problem sections on the internet, and finally decided to try Natural Balance Green Pea and Duck LID dry cat food, which I immediately ordered from Amazon. This food contains none of the usual fillers, and proteins are not ones usually encountered in other foods - major allergy inducers, especially after years of ingestion, as are grains, which are not to be found in this food. Also, most cats seem to need less of the Green Pea and Duck formula to feel satisfied. Amazingly, my Toby looks and behaves like a different cat! As does my Coon Kitty! They both now have full, shiny coats, have ceased the constant scratching and most of the constant licking (that's Toby, a diagnosed OCD). And although I did not realize this, both cats had become somewhat overweight. Both cats have lost about two pounds - they were 20+ pounders before - big boned boys, too. Now, they're both slim, trim, and more energetic! Toby has a far better disposition, since he's not concerned with his constant Natural Balance Dry Cat Food, Limited Ingredient Diet Green Pea and Duck Formula, 10 Pound Bag discomfort, which is gone. Natural Balance Green Pea and Duck dry cat food has been a bit of magic for my cats and for me! This food would be a blessing to any cat. It's healthy! And for a cat experiencing allergies of any kind, it's a must! I wrote Natural Balance and thanked the company for restoring my cats. I thank Amazon for offering it at a reasonable price and getting it here promptly! Winners, all!

Great cat food with a limited ingredient list. My cat enjoys the salmon flavor and hasn’t had the stomach issues we experienced with other brands. It’s a bit more expensive than standard kibble, but worth it for cats with sensitive digestion. This cat food is better than the prescription cat food and ships fast every time.

I have been feeding my cats this food for over 2 years. Their coats are so shiny & they are in excellent health. Whenever I put it into their bowl, they run to eat some & have no trouble chewing the morsels. I haven’t tried to change their food since getting this limited ingredient food, nor do I plan to buy any other dry food.

My cat is known as a scarf and barf cat. Meaning she throws up her food multiple times a week and has her whole life. Well come to find out, she has a chicken allergy (along w god knows what else) and this is the only food she can eat without throwing it up. Green pea and venison. Shes 13 and is putting on weight for the first time in her life. She no longer pukes everywhere. This food saved my cats quality of life. I've spent hundreds of dollars trying to help her (countless brands of food, bowls, tall bowls, slow feed, puzzle bowls, allergy medication, etc) and all I should've done was buy this food and the price really isn't outrageous either. 100% worth it

I got this for my 16 year old cat that suffers from CKD. He won’t eat RX food and this is the closest to a prescription diet that I could find. He’s very picky, but he likes this food and is healthier than other brands so I’m happy with my purchase!
