It does, but the case was not well-made. We ended up replacing the case within 4-6 months.

it is indeed worth the price and I would most definitly recommend this instrument to friends and family.

what are the measurements of the flute?

the best I can tell you is it is standard size for a beginner to intermediate student. My granddaughter has the flute so I cannot actually measure it but it is the same size as the rest in her Junior High band class.
