So sharp and perfect. Best knifes out there. Love this brand. Love these knifes. Had my old ones for 25 years and they are just like new. Finally bought another set just to have backups because they are so good. Buy the sharpened by the same brand to go with them and it will be like slicing hot butter no matter what you are cutting.

The black handle knives are the best. I don’t like the silver handles ones because you can’t put them in the dishwasher. These you don’t have to worry about. Just make sure you buy a sharpener

Wanted to get a great set of knives for a high-end beach rental property, but didn't want to break the bank doing it. And more importantly, even though it's a high-end vacation rental, they're still renters and will put everything in the dishwasher and there's nothing you can do to stop that. So after a lot of research I ended up with these. We've been using them for a month so far and all the friends and family who have been down have raved about them as the best steak knives they have ever used in their lives. They don't TEAR at the steak, they slice through it like butter... I think one or two of the 18 knives we bought had rust spots after the first time through the dishwasher, but the rest of them are fine after dozens of washes. I literally use them for everything (steak, chopping veggies, cutting limes, opening bags, etc...) even though we also bought their regular knife set as well as these steak knives. They still seem as sharp as the day we got them. I also bought the cheap Rada knife sharpener, which I love, but I've only sharpened one of the knives so far (after I used it to cut up a big cardboard box because I was too lazy to get my utility knife). A few swipes through the sharpener and it was good as new. I liked the fact that they were not serrated so that they could be sharpened regularly to keep that WOW factor for years. We will stay at our rental ourselves a few times throughout the year and I'll just swipe them all through the sharpener each time we are here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very sharp knives...easy and such a pleasure to use. Not big or heavy blade but very sharp and slice through meat easily.

Amazing knives! We are so happy eating steak now...You hardly even have to push down on the steak to slice through it. Only problem is it's so sharp we're always scared it'll damage the plates. When cutting through the steak and you reach the end you always get the grating sound of the knife scraping the plate that always gives me the shivers. Just wish it came in a set of 8.

This brand of knives we have used for years and are still one of the best brand of knife on the market. These are great steak knives. Highly highly recommend this brand of knife for purchase.

Bought these to replace some cheap steak knives that were tearing rather than cutting the food. As time went by I eventually ran out of patience for the cheap saws (they definitely were mis-labeled as knives) that I'd purchased and finally started to look around for something better. It was difficult to find something that didn't cost a fortune so the reasonable price ($45CAD / I guess that's just dependent on your budget) of these attracted me. I've had them about a month and now (very prompt delivery with no issues or delays) and my household is very impressed with them for the price. I might have preferred a more chunky handle but it's still sufficient and neither my husband (who has big hands) nor my father-in-law (who has arthritic hands) have complained. I think they're won over by how sharp the blade and how smooth and easy the resulting cutting action is. I'm not sure how long they'll stay this sharp as we haven't had them long enough to judge. We tend to hand wash them rather than putting them in the dishwasher - in hopes of keeping them sharp for longer. For right now we're very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend them and feel they were great value. If I was giving them as a gift I might have to give the warning that they don't look that special (they do come in box but it looks very basic/cheap) but that's deceptive as they're much more impressive than they look.
