Zoeller Waste-Mate 267-0001 Sewage Pump, 1/2 HP Automatic – Heavy-Duty Submersible Sewage, Effluent or Dewatering Pump

Extremely heavy and durable. The pump looks and feels solid made. Item arrived on time and well-packaged. The pump's 85 gal/min flow rate was more than enough to handle my basement bathroom's shower, sink and toilet. The pump was easy to install with very good instructions and diagrams to aid you in proper installation. The pump functioned flawlessly and I was surprised at the quiet operation and how quickly it drained the sump tank. While this pump may not be the cheapest one out there, Zoeller is known for its quality and durability. I highly recommend this pump for those reasons.

I live in a 1920s-era home in Brazil, Indiana. The property has an exceedingly high water table and I've used these pumps to keep my basement dry (I don't use them for sewage--just my basement sumps). The oldest one I own I installed back in like 2012 or 2013, and it's still working flawlessly. The newer one--of the same model--handles my basement perimeter drain and as I type this, it's kicking on almost every 10 or 15 seconds due to a major rain that we're currently getting (2-3" worth). I can't say enough good stuff about these pumps. Word of advice: Make sure to drill the little 3/16ths weep hole about 2 fingers above the discharge port and do whatever you can to make sure your exit line has long-arch angles to push through for any turns your exit line has to make as it'll reduce noise and vibration. My current pumps push up about 5-6' before leveling and going out of the house. Doing this means the pipe uses the floor joists for suspension before exiting the home. If you do this, don't disregard the amount of noise the pump will reverberate throughout the home because unless you have a special way to suspend the pipe, you'll hear a lot of noise from the pipe and the pump. (Which is perfectly normal, but the solution isn't a new pump but rather, a better installation of the exit line that most people need contractor help to do right.) Overall, these pumps are amazing and well worth their expense.

The pump arrived on time and was overall easy to install. Water flow was smooth, the pump was quiet but I personally didn't mind when I heard in sometimes because we knew it was working properly. The system flushes out the water quickly. The longevity of the prior pump lasted 9 years. We think it could’ve lasted longer, but we had a faulty check valve. Highly recommend

They work well, but know you will need to replace it about every 10years, and it is never a good time for it to stop working. I have had 3, and always keep a spare close to the pit.

Well built. My last one just like it lasted 14 years.

We had a septic tank disaster the old pump died and alarm did not work this appeared to be the best match I ordered it my brother installed it and it has been working like a dream so far it’s has only been a couple of weeks but it’s doing the job nicely

Sorry to say this pump arrived in a very beat up box. Pump was in pieces, the bottom housing was unbolted. The float would not turn the switch off...I am returning. Very disappointed.

This is an excellent sewage pump that I purchased for a basement bathroom. It is made in the USA, great quality instruction and ease of use. Zoeller is the defacto "Porsche" standard when it comes to sewage pumps. It has a 2" output so you must be able to have your stack be able to accommodate that. Do not reduce to a 1.5" as it is not a good idea if and when you get clogs. I highly recommend this sewage pump and you not be disappointed for MANY years to come. **Update October 2024** I purchased another one of these Zoller pumps for my home, the previous purchaser was for another location. I don't regret purchasing this pump and had to provide another update because I love this pump so much! My previous purchase was a cheapy version that I opted for because I thought it would do it's job, and it did for 10 years. I'm hoping to have this pump last longer than that, as it is the highest quality pump available out there. Very simple to install if you have the correct tools and could be easily done in 1-2 hours without any effort. Once again, second time around, I HIGHLY recommend this pump to prevent any issues and peace of mind. Also look for deals online as you can find this pump for a bit less if you search, but if not it's available here on Amazon, of course.

Pump is an upgrade from what I was using and it is doing exactly as it is supposed to do. Very sturdy and so far reliable.

Horrible pump! I’ve replaced an old pump which has been working for 30 years with that Zoeller and automatic switch got broke in 2 weeks so pump would keep running while there was no water. Amazon sent a replacement and the second one stopped working even in shorter period . Need a replacement as again, but guess will pick another brand this time

It's a good pump. Very quite and good built. The only thing I don't like is the backward flow of water when the pump stops every time.
