Larousse French Dictionary

I have the little Robert, the big one and this. So far, I haven’t failed to find a word in this (or the big Robert). It’s a fair price and as comprehensive as I need (French graduate).

Word headings are clearly shown in bold but word explanations are in small print. Several pages in the one I have received are smudged. However, the actual content is good, which is the main thing.

Excellent replacement for my old copy

A step up from the smaller school type dictionaries, this one has plenty of words for your money and seems to cover lots of stuff. We've got the French equivalent as well (bought in France) which we leave in France, so it's good tohave this one in the UK.

Good dictionary, easy to use.

Very helpful for new residents in France.

Much more comprehensive that others looked at and easy to use.
