Herb-ox Hormel Herb Ox Chicken Bouillon Sodium Free 50 Packets

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like the no salt because I am limited to how much salt I can have each day. Also, the price is cheaper than to buy small packs in the grocery store. I trust the name brand very much.

I used this the first time while on chemo to drink. I still drink because it tastes great.

I read reviews on this and there seems to be some question bout sodium content. The nutrition label indicates each packet has 1100 MG ossodium, I have purchased toe soduum free variety and they are lovely and I add potassium chloride )no salt or other salt substitute). I do still like these salty little devils tho. ;-) as a broth it tastes on par with cambells chicken noodle soup. Very good. :-) beef is also great. Just not all Herb ox are sodium free. I find the add will say if it is. :-) I checked after I bought this one thinking likewise and assumed its sodium free. So…a my bad turned out to be really tasty error. Its wonderful if used in a meal tht is for 3 or 4 people. :-)
