Bucky 40 Blinks No Pressure Eye Mask for Travel & Sleep

I use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea. This is the ideal sleep mask for CPAP users-the adjustable strap opens completely and allows me to put it on and off without disturbing my CPAP mask. It is light, and comfortable and completely blocks out light. There is a lot of space around d the eyes, so I can blink, open and close my eyes without pressure and without damaging my eyelashes. I love that you can customize the fit!

So comfortable that I've begun to wear it every night/morning. We're night-shifters and blocking out the sun is crucial. Bought my first at a store but bought my second one here on the Big A. I should buy another. The elastic on my first is worn and the second lives in my luggage.

The "bucky 40 BLINKS" eye mask lost a point for sturdiness when being washed. The glue that secures the layers cannot manage soaking in water. (As stated on the box.) That stated, this can be mitigated by running the edge of the mask under a sewing machine. Having a clean mask is essential for those of us with breathing or sensitive skin issues. What I really like... *The mask has a 1 inch eye cavity that allows the wearer to keep eyes open and/or blink without the eyelashes touching the interior of the mask. (I believe the online the write-up states that it is safe for false-lash wear, and though I don't wear false lashes this would seem to be true.) *The mask is very thin, light-weight, and flexible. Meaning, that this mask is foldable, and very portable, making it perfect for overseas travel where airlines limit the number of pounds one can carry. Keeping it in a jacket pocket, purse, briefcase, tote bag, or backpack for easy access is not a concern. *The fabric is soft, and because the mask is light-weight, it is very comfortable to wear in bed for the night, on the couch for a daytime nap, on a plane or train when you want to rest those peepers after a long day or sleep while traveling. *The Velcro strap makes the mask adjustable to all head sizes, kids to large adults. *The glue securing the layers of fabric is not toxic, so you won't wake up with red eyes or have an asthma attack from the fumes. Which also makes this mask great for traveling to protect your eyes from fumes emanating from some hotel pillows when you sleep. *The company offers a large variety of colors to choose from. *The mask is 9 inches long with each eye being 4.25 inches long. *The width of each eye at its center point is 3.5 inches. *I just bought the black mask shown in the photos to have an extra for when I travel, but have owned two previous masks for maybe 10 years. If you are careful with cleaning, the mask it will retain its shape and softness for years. In fact, the shape is retained even if the fabric pulls apart. *The company is based in Seattle, Washington and made/manufactured in Sri Lanka. I love buying American made products when I can, but I do understand most of our manufacturing has moved overseas. - To MYBUCKY if you are reading this review, 1.) consider securing the edges so that the mask doesn't pull apart when thoroughly cleaned and 2.) manufacture this mask here in the states. Then, it would be perfect!

Love these as a nightshift worker. Great blackout without feeling pressure on eyes. Do recommend washing in a mesh delicate laundry bag.

I’ve had this for about three years now. It’s just now starting to fray slightly around the edges. It works great if you have eyelash extensions or if you want to be able to blink while wearing it. Stays in place all night and keeps all the light out. And you can’t beat the price.

For the price these are not a bad option. The strap is velcro, so it is comfortable and adjustable. The problem is that the strap does come very close to your ears and could be annoying. Obviously it depends where your ears are located in relation to your eyes. Some people will have a problem, and then again some won't. When you tend to have a bad relationship between your ears and eyes the blackout is not complete and there are minor gaps. Now how is this for an observation: When your eyes are closed the problem is solved [LOL]. They are cuped so your eyes don't rub against the material. The only way to solve the band / ear problem is to loosen the strap and rest them on top of your ear at such a point that it is not bothersome and it will then block out all the light. I found this to be the best option. Will I by them again? I have no idea. It seems that there is no perfect option per the ratings. So, for the price I am satisfied.

Super comfortable to wear. I have long eye lashes and they do not touch the mask. My sisters has this mask also and we both love it. I prefer the black so makeup doesn’t show up on it. Light weight and soft agains the skin.

Excelente producto

Riktigt sköna att sova med, blockerar ljuset otroligt bra. Sover med dem nästan varje natt bara för att de är så sköna, inga problem att sova på sidan med för min del. Enda "negativa" är att de såklart inte ger något tryck över ögonen som jag gärna vill ha vid migrän, men då sover jag med annan mask istället.

Too big for a women's head.

These last quite a while, are easy to hand wash and provide good eye protection at night.
