KLEIN TOOLS89 Replacement Handles, Made in USA, Plastic Handle Replacement Set for 8 to 9-Inch Pliers

A perfect fit for the Klein Lineman pliers I bought them for! They take a bit of effort to put them on PROPERLY, but very easy to do so. At the ends of the handles - about a 1” length, apply a light coat of grease (I used plumbers grease). Take a folded rag and place in on a concrete surface (driveway). Make SURE the grip is properly positioned (name in, grip out) on the tip of the handle. With the jaws of the pliers in facing down in the rag, use a rubber mallet or dead blow hammer to tap the handle grip completely onto the pliers. Repeat for other grip. Hold your pliers to a light source to make sure they’re completely on. The grips fit EXTREMELY tight, and properly attached should last a long time!

Easy to install replacement handles. A little bit bigger than dipped grips and a little smaller than kleins Journeyman series handles. Once installed they don't move at all. Definitely recommend these grips.

These have probably been around longer than I have, so they're obviously a good product, but in my opinion they should be made an inch or so longer. I suppose they're kept short so that they can support a smaller set of pliers. But these replacement grips, installed on my 9-inch Klein lineman's pliers, don't provide the coverage that the original grips did. If you let them sit for a few minutes in very hot water (as the instructions say to do), they become pliable and easily slip over the bare handles of your pliers.

These are rugged and easy to install. I have some of these over 35 years old and they are not worn enough to say so.I just got a new set for some old pliers that the OEM grips are slipping off of and these are tight and so much better ergonomically.

Only 1 size available and a little large for the kliens I was repairing but after a couple mods I'm well pleased

I have been adding these to my pliers for over 20 years and really like how long a set of them last. Even when I buy a new set of pliers I cut off the factory handles and install these on all me brands of pliers, the 89's work great also on the Doyle pliers.
