Good value, good quality
My birds can never have to many ladders. These are good and sturdy and nice size to fit in cage, or on a bird playground. Perfect size for parakeets.

I get these when they're on sale. Good ladders. Simple. Good size for our cage and playstands. My bird chews on the rungs sometimes, and then we just buy more ladders!

STURDY PARAKEET LADDER
This is an excellent ladder for small pet birds. It's sturdy and well-made. I must warn you, however, that it's shipped in a flimsy envelope and might arrive damaged. If so, just return it to amazon for a free no-hassle replacement. (I don't know if it would be so easy if you're not a Prime member, though.)

Too narrow for birds over 70 grams
I bought this ladder as a replacement for one my cockatiels chewed up. The first one to arrive was broken in half because it wasn't packed properly. The second one had no improvement on the packaging. This ladder is only 3" wide from edge to edge, compared to the 5-6" width of my other ladders. It's really too narrow for them. Otherwise, it's a good basic ladder -- but labeling it for "small/medium parrots" is simply wrong. After 40 years raising parrots, I can only recommend this ladder for budgerigars and parrotlets -- parrots 70 grams or less (cockatiels range 80-100 grams). Cockatiels, quakers, small conures, etc. really need a ladder in the 4-6" width range.
