Used to connect older DVD player to smart T.V. to watch old DVD, simple application. Just plugged in and was ready to go. No issues getting it to work and the picture is great, quality is what's expected. Can now use my old DVD and content.

Audio (L/R) worked fine but video did not. Don't know if it is the converter or the Bose 3-2-1 output. I think that it is the Bose 3-2-1 video, so I can't ping on the product. I ordered a similar converter with S-video to see if that works. Company was responsive to get me a replacement product and you can't ask for much more than that...

ordered three(3). all worked fine, but wrong connector configuration. Pictures show pre-attached(permanent) male HDMI connection. Received, units with internal female HDMI port. Since they did work and a time sensitive project I did not return. Well, I see you read your reviews, you changed the picture. BTW, they still work well 90 days later.

Converter worked for a short time, but no longer functions. In addition, circuit board in converter is held in place with hot glue instead of being securely mounted to the plastic clamshell with screws or hardware. When board heats up, board begins to wander inside the clamshell, and hdmi on circuit board no longer lines up with the hole for the hdmi. Even if it did work, I wouldn't be able to plug in an HDMI without disassembling the converter box.

Had a lot of old VHS stuff I I hadn't seen in years. It was family tapes and things I had taped that weren't available for sale (music performances etc). My VCR was not compatible with new digital TV. This did the trick. Easy to hook up. Picture may be of slightly reduced quality or maybe I am just spoiled by years of digital and the VHS resolution is just thst much poorer. A Good product for the price.

At first I had troubles getting this to work, the next morning I finally figured it out, Do not use the Female to female coupler adapter use a RCA switch box something like in the pic

So far I’m loving this product! I have a lot of older vcr/dvd combos that I couldn’t play older movies on with my newer tv’s. This gave me the capability to do that without having to get new tech and save money at the same time! I would (and have) recommended this item to many friends and family if they want to do the same..

A friend of mine wanted me to convert his wedding VHS tape to DVD. I didn't have an analog to digital converter so I ordered this one hopping that it was worth the effort. I got it on the second day hooked it up and to my surprise, it worked the first time. No hassle, no fuss. I was totally impressed.
