First time upgrading pedals = immediate improvement! UPDATE #2: three years later..
UPDATE #2: It is 2025 now. I have progressed to 25 foot jumps, 6' drops, and ride hard at downhill bike parks. I eventually upgraded to genuine OneUp pedals because I don't want to die from a knockoff breaking (see one of the reviews from the 300lb rider who did jumps and drops and it broke.) After about two years, the Rockbros bearing in the right side starting to wear out and feel rougher, but again, I rode it hard and probably got it wet without cleaning and regreasing it. CONCLUSION: Like the OneUp's, they have a large platform that feel comfortable and pins that grip well. If your wheels never leave the ground, I continue to endorse these as great pedals at a great price! // UPDATE #1: One year later and it has held up well. I have since upgraded to flat pedal shoes to go with these pedals and it's a game-changer. I have progressed from being a beginner to riding aggressive trails and jumps (8-16ft tables and gaps), and just rode a downhill bike park. I ride almost every week and covered 800+ miles of trails. The OneUp's are definitely designed better, have higher quality components, and better quality control, but these are impressive for the price. Now that I know I am a serious MTB'er I will invest in a name brand next, but these have served their purpose well. I have a second pair on an old backup, cross country bike. I believe they will be fine for light riding. CONCLUSION: great, low cost pedal to try out. know the risks of buying an off brand at this price point. check the quality carefully, install it properly, and hope for the best but don't expect it to perform like pedals that are 2-5x the cost. aggressive/advanced riders should not take the risk, otherwise, go for it! // Experience: Two months of MTB trails on hardtail and full suspension. Other products used: none, just factory pedals. Initial impression: feels solidly built. immediate and noticeable improvement in pedal feel riding around block. feet feel much more comfortable (size 10 US). haven't ridden trails yet. Concerns: pins feels sharp and will inevitably gouge legs someday (file them down?). wider platform may hit obstacles easier. both of these are necessary trade-offs I suppose. Final verdict: at a very affordable price, this is a great upgrade for beginners. would consider upgrading all our non-trail bikes with these if I can smooth out the sharp pins.

Great bang for buck
Second set of these. They are awesome. Nice large platform. Hold up decent to bashing. Replace yearly and keep them fresh!

Great replacement pedals
I purchased these pedals as I had ankle surgery and my bad ankle tends to twist outward. This would result in my foot working it's way off the pedal. I was mainly looking for something larger and these pedals fit the bill. They also look great and match my bike perfectly. They are comfortable to use and are not slippery in the slightest. My foot locks in securely with the spikes. The threads were flawless and installation was a snap once I got the original pedals off. Upon riding, they perform exactly as I need them to. The one caveat I will say is that people need to be VERY aware of the spikes. If you hit the pedal with your shin, you are sure to come out of it bleeding from how sharp they are.

First couple rides, nothing to complain about
First thing to note is that at this time, because of the pandemic, it is really hard to get bike parts. They are in very high demand. I got my daughter a new pair of RF Chester pedals last summer and it took a month for them to arrive. So I was a little skeptical when these were supposed to arrive in just 3 days. But sure enough, there they were at my door step three days later. I was very pleased about that. The box was a touch crumpled, but nothing huge and certainly nothing that impacted the product. The pedals are very clearly new...I know some people were afraid they were going to receive some 2nd hand returns. Nothing to worry about there. Not a scratch on them, spindles are perfectly clean and feel properly lubricated. Based on a couple other reviews, I did a quick check of the axle caps to make sure they weren't loose (they weren't), checked for any play in the spindles (there wasn't any), and checked that all the pins were tight (they were). So out of the box I was satisfied. The pedals are light, as you'd expect from a composite pedal. Spindles are clearly marked with R and L. The pins are tall so they grip my Five10 shoes very easily. There are 3 extra pins. That may be the only disappointing part. Considering that each side of the pedal has 10 pins, for a total of 20 pins per pedal, and pins will eventually get bashed up, I would expect more than just 3 spare pins. I have used Crankbrothers Stamp 1 and RF Chester pedals, both of which are about twice the price of these pedals. I like these better simply because the Chester platform isn't quite enough for my disproportionately hobbit-like feet and the Stamp's center spline (or whatever you call the center part that spins around the axle) is actually raised up higher than the pins - uncomfortable and doesn't hold. I took a little bit of a chance with these pedals since reviews were a little back and forth, but I figured for $26 it was worth giving a try. So far, I am pleased. It's a nice large platform with a lot of support. I didn't feel like the sides of my feet were hanging off at all. After a couple snowy rides on my fat bike, no squeaking, no play. At this point, I am pleased with the purchase. Composite pedals have come a long way. Sure, these are clearly a copy of the One Up, but that's the way trickle down technology and free markets work. If you come out with a great product, you have to know someone else is going to copy it and sell it for less. So it gets 4 stars...only reason for not getting 5 stars is simply because I don't yet know about long term durability (I've only had 'em out on 2 rides in the week I've had them) and because they came with only 3 spare pins.

Great for bigger feet and solid platform for pedaling on climbs or fast sections.
I was afraid these pedals would be too big to get used to but after I actually received them I liked the design so I installed them and went for a 14 mile trail ride. I brought my old pedals just in case. But I loved them from the first time I put my feet on them (size 50 Giro flat MTB shoes). The pedals give a great platform for my big feet and I never felt they were too big. They are just right and the pins give great traction. It just took a little getting used to but after a mile or so I was able to land in a good spot on each pedal and "wiggle" my shoes to just the right spot thanks to the concave nature of the pedals. If you are not in the exact right spot on the pedal you can still pedal effectively if you get caught on a climb. I like the composite material much better than aluminum because it makes pedal bites less painful. Highly recommend!!

I've read reviews complaining about the size of the spikes. I wanted to clarify that their size is regulated by a regular key, as it should be. If you have a lot of dirt, use 100% if it's a regular road, use 10% as I did.
