Loved this book
I volunteer at the senior's residence where my mother lives. Often I read to her or a group. They love short, funny stories that remind them of a happier time in their own lives. This book was a big hit. It's so great to see them enjoying themselves. And I loved it too.

and pokes fun at himself
Roger is clever, humorous, insightful, and pokes fun at himself. He loves his wife and family, is a "good guy," and finds humor in most things happening around and to him. Reading his books is an up-lifting experience. Highly recommend his books!

I liked it so much, I'm sharing it with others.
I received this book as a gift and now I'm getting 2 more copies to give to others. It is the kind of humor you're not embarrassed to laugh at as Aylworth gives insight into the life of a large family. It's obvious he loves his kids even though they've added to the "silver" ,(he likes that term better than gray) in his hair. He has chronicled the life of the large family in a way that hits the highlights of hilarity as well as the sentiments of a small child's pure love. This book is a joy.

Definitely WORTH a place in my shower schedule
I laughed, I cried and I just couldn't put the book down. Thank you Roger for sharing a lifetime of columns about life, love and the beauties of life. As I read I found myself getting acquainted with the author's family and yet at the same time many of the same things have happened to me. I just didn't take the time to smile, laugh or reflect on them when they were happening. Perhaps now I will!

Off to a good start
I read one a day. This way my day starts off with a good laugh, at least for 101 of them. The 'possum story is a must read.
