Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts 165g - Pack of 4

I love licorice and have heard of these for these for years, but never tried them. Love them! Great assortment of different flavors. Hate to admit it, but I’m on my second bag in two days! I’ve discovered my favorite way to eat them is similar to how I negotiate Oreos - eat each piece one layer at a time to get the separate tastes of licorice and other flavors. Either way, in one bite or by layers, outstanding! And super fresh, perfect texture, and well within expiration date.

Long time since I had these licorice allsorts and they are very good and fresh! As far as I’m concerned the only ones I will ever buy again! This is the original brand from the UK and they are really good! I have tried a lot of other brands and they don’t come close! They came on time as promised and packed carefully! So good and not melted or damaged! Very happy!

Licorice Allsorts can be a very divisive candy. There's a significant chunk of the population who hates the taste of black licorice and a lot of people seem to also hate the mild flavor for cake fondant. So, if either of those foods disgust you then perhaps Allsorts just isn't your thing. When I opened up the bag, there was a nice licorice and molasses sweet smell to it. I sampled several pieces and found a few favorites just before the bag was empty. Most of the candies have a nice sweetness level to them due to the fondant-like exterior which has a nice flavor (sometimes citrus, sometimes coconut, etc.). The fondant texture also resembles marzipan at times, though it doesn't have that almond flavor. There are also a few soft licorice mounds (encased in those decorator ball things) - these have a really nice licorice flavor. There were also a few pieces of firm black licorice too, but these weren't as impressive. If you want to explore the sweeter realm of licorice candies, I recommend trying these. I ordered mine with a pack of 4 and I was very happy that I had those extra bags since the first bag didn't last me a day due to me returning to it on more than one occasion.

Delicious! Can't get this brand in the US anymore. They arrived well packaged, fresh and flavorful.

I was quite disappointed as this order had 4 packets of my favorite all sorts and when I opened the first one they were very hard and some with not good flavor. Then I checked and all 4 packages were expired, out dated, passed the best by date. Is that really allowed .. spending top dollar and being sent food items that are expired and can’t be returned?

These are very tasty and remind me of devouring All Sorts when I was a child in England. But very disappointed that there are so few in each bag compared to the price paid, and more so that some of the bags held only a couple (or even zero) of my favorites - the coconut ones and the nonpareil jelly ones.

Have tried different Allsorts on Amazon and this is the best. Seems fresh, not hard, not stale. Candy is not misshapen or squahed. Licorice is flavorful. Lots of variety. One negative is lack of my favorite type, the round coconut with Licorice in the middle. One pack had only 2 and a second pack had none. Got 4 packs in this order so we'll see what's in those two when I open them. Glad I found these!
