Good quality, heavy duty
Very Heavy duty and great for adults. Gift for adult son who had purchased a regular size for his 8 year old daughter. Now they can jump together!

Wow
I'm 43 and this is nothing like the weak pogo stick my little brother had when I was a kid. I surprised everyone in the family (even myself) when I ordered it. When it arrived, I discovered I had the Gravity Games version, which I think looks better because it isn't red. It was fully assembled, too. The spring was so stiff, I was afraid to get on it at first but I took it to my little brother's house and we had a blast with it. You won't catch me doing any extreme tricks at my age, but it's plenty fun just to bounce around and try to stay bouncing. Indoors, I use it as an exerciser by just trying to balance on it. It's quite a workout. Don't let the stiff spring intimidate you, once you start bouncing, you will appreciate it. I've already had so much fun with this pogo stick, it paid for itself on the first day. (The looks on people's faces when they see a grown man bouncing on a pogo stick make it even more fun.) It is well constructed and I expect it to last a long time. But like I said, I won't be doing any extreme tricks with it. If you try hard enough, you can break just about anything. If you get too crazy with it or don't pay attention to what you are doing, you can hurt yourself too. I get enough of a rush just taking it easy.

Fun Stuff!
Great Fun! I've had this about two weeks and love it! I've been on it almost everyday and it is good, quick exercise. I'm 62 years, 6-1 tall and 180lbs. This would easily take 200#s. It is sturdy and well made. Comfortable handles and foot rests. It is noisy out of the box, but a little 3-in-1 oil quieted that right down. It took a bit to learn to use it. Balance- I hadn't been on one since I was a kid, so had to re-learn by using in the garage, holding onto one of the side door rails. Also- as noted by others, there is a plate that can knock your knees, but if you pull up on the handle bars, your knees stay tight to the sides and there is no knocking. I'm pleased with this and have no problem recommending it.

POGO AT ANY AGE!
I really need to add some serious cardio in my workouts but I really do not like doing cardio. I love lifting weights, cardio not so much.I was trying to come up with some form that would not bore me to death like walking on the treadmill does. Then I remembered loving my pogo stick when I was a kid. I wasn't sure if they even made them anymore. Little did I know that they are still being enjoyed and are even being used in extreme sports. I did a lot of research. I wanted one that was sturdy and could support my weight. I was looking for something that wasn't too expensive in case I did not like it as much as I remembered. I finally decided on The Super Pogo 1505 after much research. It took me a long time to finally use it. I had not pogo-ed in decades and I was afraid that someone would laugh at a 58 year old woman jumping up and down on a pogo stick!!The weather finally warmed up enough and I went and hid myself in a corner of my neighborhood high school until it was almost dark but that's what it took to make me feel comfortable enough to do it for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I jumped right on and started jumping as if I had never stopped doing it. I kept the first workout short. I did only about 600 reps with 100 being consecutive jumps which only took about 15 minutes. It was fun and it got my heart rate up quickly. It had me sweating profusely right away, too. Now that I have gotten over my pogo shyness I will be doing it often to supplement my workouts. HOWEVER!!! Please be fore-warned that the potential for bruising is there... I am short and a bit chunky. The frame is a bit wide and the metal frame has edges as it is a square shape. I did end up with some unsightly bruising on the inside of my legs above the knee after only 15 minutes. It's not a deal breaker for me, however. I am researching pads for just that problem and have found none as of yet. I am going to trying get knee pads and turn the pad to the inside of my legs. Also I will try not hugging the frame tightly with my legs. Just be prepared for it and you will have fun. The minus one star in the rating is for the bruises. Ouch. I think the the Super Pogo 1505 is a great deal. It's very sturdy and I believe it will hold up for as long time. I am happy to be back on a pogo stick. I don't think it is any more dangerous than any other piece of equipment as long as the temptation to do something incredibly stupid while using it is met with resistance. Then, all bets are off.

Dad's New Pogo
I bought 2 pogo sticks for Christmas. One for my 13 year old daughter and this one for my Husband. I had bought this because my husband is 230 pounds and this had the highest weight limit. Not only does he use it, I have had fun with it too. I am 5'9" and 140 pounds. It has a strong spring and is built to last. We were reviewing our daughter's pogo and realized what a fitness item the pogo had become for adults. It is such a workout and soooooo much fun. I did get bruising on the inside of my knees. My husband bought self stick foam meant for water pipes for me. Problem solved. He did not have that problem. I assume that it is the way I hold my legs. I would not hesitate to buy this product. It is much taller than the one we got for my daughter, so if this is for a child, you may want to take a look at the product height. My daughter can pogo on this, but the spring is very strong and she doesn't get decent compression like she can on hers. She is 90 pounds. Final note-Dad loves his pogo and it is a kick to see him and my daughter jumping around together on their pogo sticks.

Ouch!
I'd love to say this pogo stick works great, but the few flaws it has are deal breakers. Initially, I got the kid version for my wife because she's short and light and I thought it would work. Immediately upon receiving it though, I jumped on it and "stole" her present away. It was a very small contraption and I wanted to have more fun bouncing down memory lane so I got the adult version which is this model. It's built to last, very robust and with a tip that doesn't seem to erode over time. It's also taller so it's better for my 5'10" frame. HOWEVER the central column is too wide and if you don't place your feet on the edges of the pedals just right, then you will bang your knees guaranteed. It's terrible, you get these painful bruises real quick. I read some other reviews that said that they used duct tape to protect themselves, which seems a little archaic. Just make a better product! Well of course, if you use the exterior of these pedals to avoid the knee pain, be careful not to fall off it while using it. I really hurt my shin the other day and it bled bad. Now I look at this toy with very wary eyes. I want to play with it, but I can't, because I know it'll hurt me "sometime" in the future. Come on pogo stick company, read these reviews and improve your performance! Still, it's fun, dangerous fun...

Great pogo stick... Active fun!
We are an active family. I try my hardest to get my kids outside for fun and games--not always the easiest thing in this day of video games, computers and texting. As a consequence, we have all sorts of goofy fun things around the house: kick sleds, bikes, scooters, tree swings, stilts--and pogo sticks. We own three pogos: The Super Pogo 1505, the Flybar Foam Master, and the Flybar Foam Maverick. Each one has it's place in our pogo stick stable. Without a doubt, the Super Pogo is the most advanced pogo stick. It's great for big kids (at least 100 lbs) and both my husband and I can bounce it for long periods of time (we are both over 200 lbs). It's comfortable. It's fun. The only negatives: after over a year of use, the metal face plate fell off (we reattached it... but it's purely cosmetic); after 2 years of use, a neighbor kid hit the grass while bouncing and sucked out the rubber tip. I'm now online looking for the replacement since you can't use it without that tip. This has given us many, many hours of fun. It's the most competitive of the pogos we own. It's more aggressive, more comfortable and more adult. The Foam Maverick is great for my youngest--who is unable to get any of the other pogos bouncing due to her size and weight (she is 9 years old, about 75 lbs). The Foam Master was originally purchased for my now 13 year old, but it wasn't aggressive enough for her as she bottomed out on it right away. We find that it works great for friends who are more hesitant bouncers and/or who aren't big/heavy enough to use the Super Pogo. Katie (the 13 year old) is AMAZING on powerstilts (sometimes called jumping stilts, like those here: http://www.amazon.com/Poweriser-Jumping-Stilt-Classic-198-266/dp/B002IAO8M6/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1369948237&sr=8-16&keywords=stilts She still loves bouncing on her pogo though. All 3 of my kids (ages 9, 13, 16) can bounce for well over 200 hops before stopping. It's a great workout and it's FUN!

65 year old uses for an extreme fun cardio workout! I want to see seniors using these everywhere!
I purchased this for myself on my 65th birthday! I lift weights and do cardio but I wanted something unique to do cardio, to mix it up a bit and I recalled the fun I had as a kid on a PoGo stick. Most stores in the area only sell ones with a low weight rating, I needed one to handle my 200 lbs. This one fit the bill and is extremely well built. I was unsure if I could still do it, but no problem and it gets the heart rate up rather quickly. One thing I didn't know until I got the manual with it was that you can replace the spring for around $12 if it ever goes bad. Nice to know that you can get parts for it. I was also surprised at its weight, it is heavy, which I like. I live on a boat and friends thought I was crazy, at my age, getting a pogo stick and they teased me about jumping on the dock, thinking I'd never do it....so I did the length of our dock, shocking them all! This is going with us in the RV so I can use it to jump around the camp grounds. This stick is a blast and the feeling of flying into the air compares to nothing else!
