WILSON WTH4308 Official AVP Outdoor Volleyball

This is by far my favorite sand volleyball.I play sand volleyball 3 - 5 times per week, averaging about 15 hours per week. I have 10 volleyballs I keep with me for practice and competitive play, and 6 of them are the Wilson Official AVP Outdoor Game Volleyball. The other 4 are (2) Spalding King of the Beach and (2) Mikasa Official FIVB.This Wilson ball is my favorite for many reasons- Vibrant and easy to see, whether outdoors in the daylight, outdoors on lighted courts at night, or playing on indoor sand courts.- Soft, consistent texture. This is my favorite sand volleyball to pass and set, BY FAR.- Ball seems to always be available for a good price, prime eligible. Sure it's only 10 bucks cheaper than KoTB or FIVB, but that makes a difference when you are ordering 5+ in order to practice.- Ball is actually round, unlike the KoTB ball which a lot of people tend to prefer these days. KoTB has a pronounced spine which actually makes that ball fail to be round (perhaps the only qualifying feature of being a ball).

The ball received is the same as advertised , an official Wilson avp ball. I ordered this ball after reading reviews on Amazon and doing reasearch on which would be the best outdoor volleyball. This is good quality ball. It has a nice feel to it when hitting not too hard and not too soft. It appears similar to the Wilson soft play which is a much cheaper ball and lower quality cover which doesn't last long, but did have very good stitching that lasted. So I am expecting this ball to be very durable and last a long time. With our limited use thus far as it was just purchased I can't comment on longevity. Based on how it feels and plays I would recommend this ball. Its is definitely worth the extra dollars for what you get.

Here in Vegas all the serious players use this ball and have been for about the last 12+ yr since it first came out (can't remember quite how long it's been). I now have 4 of these balls, one is about as old as when it first came out and it still works great after 12+yr of playing weekly sand ball 8 mo. out of the year. If anything you'll get your money's worth out of it in longevity if you take care of it. This ball flies great, doesn't wobble at all and has a great feel to it. I think it has the perfect combination of power for hard spikes and serves but also a soft touch for placing shots and dinks. We love the feel to it and find the touch and play way superior to the King of the Beach or any other ball. Highly recommend this ball for outdoor play.

i really liked the ball and the way they dilvered it it was fast some how and i like it because it is soft and nice to play with in the beach so its one of the best beach volleyballs i tried in my life but it has only one small disadvantage is that the sand and water sometimes sticks together so u have to wash it and clean it or to smash it with ur hands hardly to remove it.overall, is a good ball and a professional and the price is not that expensive for such a ball.

Bar none this ball is the gold standard of sand/outdoor volleyball.Anyone or everyone ranging from novice to advancedbeach players use this ball more than any other product out there.I myself play 3x a week beach volleyball and justrecently bought 2 new ones.My previous balls had lasted 3yrs each and that's a pretty good shelf life considering thefrequency and time that I play.Someone beginning and has a desire to improve and play competitively or just lookingfor a quality ball that will last won't go wrong with this volleyball.Its got a good feel and texture for passing/setting andis responsive to both spiking and serving.By far the best ball out there!

Bought this product and it seemed fine out of the package. Was in a factory Wilson box and everything. Took it to the backyard to do some basic bumping and setting with the roommate. Within an hour it became completely flat. Happened out of nowhere. Think it leaked air through a seem or one got busted. If we were playing a game I might have a different outlook but that's just bad. Got a refund, went to Dick's and got an under armour ball for $55 and it's been great the past month.

Purchased this volleyball to replace a previous Wilson Official AVP volleyball that had seen better days. The previous volleyball was about 3 years old and had seen a lot of play so I think that these speak to the durability of the construction. The only issues with the previous ball was some nicks and cuts on the ball from being used on non-grass and sand surfaces, so can't knock the ball there.Overall a great ball and the official ball of the AVP so you can't go wrong there, and to have the ball that the pro's play with at an affordable price, I don't know why you would look at an alternative ball.

This is the best outdoor ball in my opinion. Just about everyone at the location I play, twice a week, has this ball and we all love it. Nobody uses the other brands' balls that are laying around that the bar bought. I bought the replica in the past, used it for 2 weeks, and its terribly. Not even close to this, the real thing. Pony up the $50 for this ball, its worth it! The material is very comfortable for setting and the compression feels great, with some leway for air pressure, for passing and hitting.
