GE WR17X10706 Refrigerator Dispenser Actuator

This replacement part was purchased for GE Profile Artica PSi23NGPA-with custom panels. It works great but it was not an easy fix. We also purchased a GE WR62X10055 Genuine OEM Dispenser Solenoid Assembly and aWR17X11653 Ice Door Flapper by PartsBroz - Compatible with GE Refrigerators - Replaces AP3672582, 1032671, AH964304, EA964304, PS964304, WR17X3093, WR17X3492 . With all three parts my husband was able to fix the flapper door which would not shut once ice was dispensed. I had a GE repair guy twice before replace the solenoid assembly but I wanted to save the almost $200 bucks it would have cost me. So, for less than $35 ​three parts were replaced. I am glad we replaced all three because of rust and Slime that was up inside the moving parts.

The right part for the job.

I have frost build up on my ice dispenser and really only needed to buy a new door flap. But I decided to preemptively replace all the parts involved in the ice dispensing process. Even though my refrigerator is about 6 years old and I do clean it regularly, when taking the dispenser apart there is a lot of disgusting stuff in there - mold and splashes that are on the inside - I am so glad I bought all new parts. The parts are supposed to be OEM and so far everything went together with ease, and the actuator does it job well.

Exactly what was missing! Easy enough to replace. Wish it came with the brackets/hardware to install it though.

I have an older refrigerator and I bought this pice because it looked like the one I had. However, it was a mirror image of what I needed, so it didn't fit. I gave the 5 stars because they immediately gave ma a refund.

Product is good but the wrong hand - it is not specified that this part does not fit a Refrigerator with thesolenoid on the left which is what I have. No reply to my inquiry on getting the correct replacement part.

Super easy to install. Should have replaced it years ago.
