Introductory Sommelier Course 2019 Workbook

This is a must buy if you’re studying for your level 1 certification. It’s nice to have all the info you need. A broad overview of a lot of info.

Excellent and comprehensive course. The book arrived in brand new condition. Unfortunately my first book was ruined as our home flooded from a hurricane and even though I passed the exam a couple of years ago I would refer to this book frequently for review and I missed it so much I purchased another one. I highly recommend the CMS course as my friend did another course and the CMS course was much more thorough.

I bought this because I was curious about the CMS level 1 course. My grandson is interested, so I wanted to see how hard it might be. I am blown away by the scope of this workbook! Anyone who is truly interested in wine - more than just drinking it - would love this book. And you will gain a new respect for those who pass the Court of Master Sommelier examinations. If you try the quizzes at the end of each chapter before studying, you'll be amazed how much you don't know. And this is just the introductory level of the 4 tiers of sommelier certifications! It's a great reference book.

This book is something you must have if you are going to take the intro sommelier class.

This book is obviously designed for those entering into the world of Court of Sommelier.Very extensive and in depth with practice quizzes included. Quality product and written by knowledgeable people in there field.Highly recommend if you’re looking to learn something new at your own pace.

Bought this at recommendation of a fellow server and it has exceeded my expectations! Easy format for learning , colored pictures, well done outlines, I highly suggest its worth it for elevating your wine knowledge.

Got me through

Gives a very detailed account of all aspects of wine areas, growth and production. My only problem with the book is that the text does not cover all of the questions at the end of each chapter. I am guessing this is because it is actually a course book, so maybe more stuff gets covered in class.
