Been a whey user for over 15 years and have tried all of the major brands at one time or another. Did some looking into "Organic Whey" recently, not so much buying into the organic craze that is sweeping the nation, but becoming more aware of the quality of ingredients and other chemicals that are in most standard wheys. Plant protein is a good alternative that is an easy choice, however I prefer whey. Was looking for a whey product that was a little more natural/less chemicals, and for the most part anything in that category seems to also be organic (added bonus). Choosing between the abundance of products out there is difficult, there is no quality comparison to help and for the most part it will be trial and error for everyone individually. Basically it comes down to price and taste. Most of these organic products are expensive, and the majority only come unflavored. I prefer chocolate flavored whey, so that helped narrow it down a bit. I also had no intention of spending a small fortune on organic whey, so that eliminated a bunch as well. You will read a lot about stomach issues with the organic/raw/cold-processed proteins, I have had no issues. My thought is that if you have stomach problems with Dairy before hand then you can have issues with any of these as well, otherwise if you are a milk drinker then you're probably fine. As far as this particular product goes. Natural Force has made an outstanding product. I am extremely pleased. Very high quality ingredients, and exactly what you're looking for in terms of natural/chemical free whey. The taste is great as far as chocolate protein powder goes. The price was reasonable for the serving size (still more than your standard proteins, but not nearly as expensive as organic whey goes). The only downside is that it does not mix 100%, I use a blender bottle and there is always a small amount that doesn't completely dissolve, doesn't really bother me too much. Already on my second purchase. If you can live without Prime, you can buy via the Natural Force website and sign up for a subscription and get regular shipments for a little less money. They also have larger serving size options.

Favorite protein powder ever! The powder mixes up so well with just a few shakes. The taste is simple and clean, slight chocolate taste and a hint of sweetness. Very basic and simple. Mixes well with my iced coffee and in plain water. My husband likes it with milk. The powder is very light and airy. No stomach upset, no bloating. Love the minimal ingredients and low carb content. The 5lbs bag is a lifesaver!

Great taste, I have to say after trying so many different proteins, this one is the only one that doesn’t leave a strong aftertaste. I’ve been mixing it with water only and the taste is still great, I’m not into sweet beverages, this one keeps the dark cocoa flavor and is very light.

Seems to be really high quality, we love the lack of extra ingredients and the fact that it’s not super sweet (some have way too much monk fruit/stevia) however it is very messy due to the lack of soy lecithin. It sticks to the outer part of the scoop in clumps and when you tap it into the container of choice it inevitably will spill powder outside of your target. That being said we still ordered again so I guess it just depends on what you’re willing to put up with. We had previously used “NorCal Organic” but they’ve been out of stock of anything flavored for over a month now. They are the comparable brand but have soy lecithin so it’s not as messy. This protein powder is used in fruit smoothies and yogurt parfaits, and bc it’s not as sweet I’m able to mix a scoop with a serving of Greek yogurt without that concentrated artificial sweetener flavor and smoothies have a more natural subtle chocolate flavor. The powder is super fine making it very mixable/blendable. I hope this was helpful for someone.

This protein powder taste great and serves its purpose, but the texture is so fine. Makes it messy and hard to manage.

I’ve tried several brands of whey protein in the past- and then decided it is time to really consider what goes into the supplement i basically drink every day. 3 clear and clean ingredients, tastes great (i buy the chocolate), and from what i’ve read online they’ve tried to be as transparent as possible - even when they can’t confirm 100% due to sourcing challenges, they clarify that point. The only “negative” which i do not really consider a negative is yes it does not mix as easily as some of the brands you’re used to. But that hasn’t put me off, the clean ingredients is a bigger plus for me than it not mixing effortlessly. I’ve found a shaker ball and not filling the shaker all the way to the top (to allow the water to splash around properly when you shake) did the job for me. Use a larger shaker and if it clumps up add a bit of water after a few sips and shake again. The packaging could be better - the stand up large pouch makes it harder to scoop out the whey as it gets empty vs the typical large tub. But again, a small inconvenience, nothing that would stop me from buying again. I don’t buy any other brand now and have recommended my friends switch as well.
