Loved the story & illustrations. I read it in an hour and connected with it. Debbie and I are like the same person -- similar experiences, similar thoughts, similar lifestyles. Very relatable for fellow introverts and very teachable for extraverts. I think it gave good insight into what being an introvert is actually like, and what you (as an extravert) can do to support introverts in your life. Review: Definitely for Introverts - I haven't even read the first 10 pages of the book and I'm in love with it. As an introvert, this book definitely defines what it is like to be one. I love the short messages for the characters on each page, making this book very comedic yet powerful and understanding. I love the main character and what her life is like because it's definitely what my life is like right now. I specifically bought this book to find a way to naviagate myself in life as an adult now in college and whatever futuristic things I'll do. I can tell already that this book will help me to get around better. I love what this story portrays because im the type of person that since im an introvert in this very extroverted world, i honestly dont think i belong. This story tells me otherwise and that it's okay to be an introvert and be the way you are. Truely, from the bottom of my heart, theres nothing more that i can think of about this book, because it really does relate to me 100%. I'm so glad i came across this book and i will definitely be buying other books from this author.

Felt seen
What went from a quick read for my A to Z Challenge became a book where I felt seen. I saw myself in the main character and started to cry at times when I related to her the most. I'm glad I came across this book.

Honest, Self-Deprecating and Funny
Quiet Girl in a Noisy World: An Introvert's Story is a brilliant autobiography of the introverted author, Debbie Tung, as she learns to negotiate her way in an extrovert's world. She's in graduate school when it starts, working on her dissertation. She enters "adulthood", and lands her first job, while wondering in what direction she should take her life. Each page (or sometimes two) contains its own story, and each story rings true. She starts out filled with self-doubt, and the desire to please others. Most of the time what she'd like best is being home with a hot mug of tea and a good book. Sound familiar? Tung is honest, self-deprecating and funny. She's also enormously likeable. There's a gradual recognition that she's not alone in being an introvert, and she develops a freedom as she finds ways to balance the different parts of her life and how she wants to approach them. I loved every bit of this one.

☀️☀️Bask in the glory of this fitting reflection on being an introvert! ☀️☀️
This books is a graphic novel depicting the different scenarios and feels of an introvert and I honestly felt the author was pulling my feelings and moods out onto the page. It fit me so perfectly. This book follows Debbie, an intensely introverted individual who deals with life and love like more struggling introverts do; one moment at a time with the space in between social interactions to recharge. This books had me laughing out loud at how ironically fitting this book is to so many of my own thought processes. I feel like this book is so perfectly open and honest regarding the internal conflict every introvert goes through and it's wonderful. ALL INTROVERTS SHOULD READ THIS BOOK AND BASK IN ITS GLORY. I adored this book and all of its perfection and highly recommend.

I looooved it!!!!
I did the MBTI test few weeks ago and was surprised to find out that I am an INTJ... being and introvert and surrounded by people who don't really understand me (or trying to) always made me feel awkward, not normal, unfit... but reading this comics helped me to feel more comfortable in my shoes and somehow confident that things will work out... as long as I accept and embrace my inner self. Thanks a lot for this amazing journey Debbie and looking forward to reading more of you great work! Best of luck!

A perfect gift for introverts!
This is a book after my own heart. Page after page after page, I felt this book was reading my mind and very reminiscent of my own life story, for the most part. I felt the same way while reading "Book Love" by the same author. I absolutely love Debbie Tung's honesty, vulnerability, sense of humor, and artistic talents seen throughout her books! "Quiet Girl in a Noisy World" is a delightful collection of comics that tells a story most introverts can relate to, and would make a perfect gift for introverts.
