HAPPY OWNER
I wanted to take time to write a review, especially after seeing multiple LOW reviews on this product. I have had a Keter 7x9 storage shed for about 8 years now (purchased in Ohio, then disassembled, moved to Oregon and reassembled), and have been MOST happy with it. The corners ARE showing signs of weakness, but I have reinforced them. SO, I wanted to purchase a shed that "matches" my first one and bought this DESPITE the negative reviews, because I wanted to believe that Keter had not "gone downhill" in quality. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. The carton arrived with sings of "beating" from shipping (due to the weight, I am sure), and some of the packing tape had come loose, but NO damage THROUGH the carton. NOTHING was missing or damaged inside the carton. I had prepared a "slab" with (8) 16"x16" patio stones leveled on gravel, and assembled the shed (Keter Elite Stor) on the pad. From the time I opened the carton, it took me (solo) just under ONE HOUR to install. If you can read pictures (assembly instructions), if you can look carefully to see the zoomed in details and "!" markings, the instructions make perfect sense and will lead you to a successful assembly. After assembly, I crafted a "top shelf" to pay our hammock swings on (top access) out of (2) 1" x 12" boards, which took another 20 minutes. I ALSO have a CORTINA MEGA shed to be delivered today. I will report back once I have that assembled as well. Here's to hoping for another good experience. (As far as weathering and durability, given this is a "baby brother" to my larger 7'x9' shed which is now over 8 years old, I anticipate it holding up fine.)

Nice and sturdy
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Because it was a Keter product. I needed to put garbage bins in it and it is large. It fits 2 32 gal bins and has extra space. I am only allowed 32 gal bins in my town. However it took me about 5 hours to put together. Directions could have been better, but I figured it out.

Nice shed with few minor issues.
We really like the style of this shed. The parts are substantial enough that it feels like it can hold up to the weather. My only complaint is the areas where the plastic components are reinforced with metal strips. These are pre-drilled for screw bit the screws are not a self tap or thread screw. Same ones used for plastic connection. They do not thread into metal well at all. We had to drill out the holes to larger size to get them to go in properly. Should be a different screw. MInor but frustrating detail.

Arrived with broken pieces and a busted box…and Amazon upped the price by over $100
The thing arrived with two parts broken and one piece missing and the box flaps open — likely the fault of UPS’s gentle handing and Keter’s not sealing the boxes as well as they could with straps for a kit in a huge box weighing how much?!? (Smooth move, Keter.) Didn’t want to return the thing since Amazon wouldn’t exchange it for me and raised the price over $100, and I wasn’t about to pay more for something I already owned just for three pieces! I was able to put it together, and yeah, it’s a cool shedling. Tried to contact Keter to see if they could help out with replacement parts, and they couldn’t even get back to me after more than a month!!! I kept getting Case numbers, but zero response from anyone at Keter, so if customer care and service is important to you, know that this company can’t even spare a moment to tell me to eff off, let alone offer me a way to get the parts replaced or kvetch or whatever, so don’t expect any help, guidance, or advice from a human if you need anything. It looks sturdy and feels sturdy, but I wouldn’t expect it to withstand any substantial force; it feels like it could be easily busted by a good high school or college linebacker at halfspeed, even when all the screws are in, but then again, resin is as resin does. It’s pretty and functional, and the price I originally paid was cool, so I’m not unhappy with my shed, but the company? BOOOOO. And Amazon for their jacking up the price and playing dumb when I asked them for help? BOOOOO. And UPS for leaving my box all banged up with flaps all akimbo? BOOOOOO. If you can keep the thing safe from being subjected to any force greater than a Chevy Aveo or Ford Fiesta or SmartCar from tapping it at idle, it’s not a bad shed-lette.

Quality product, great for irrigation well house enclosure. So easy to assemble, my 12yo did it!
We purchased this enclosure to use it for an irrigation well house enclosure and it worked perfectly. The enclosure is well made and should withstand the elements just fine. The bottom could be drilled to slip over the well casing pipe and it can be fastened to a slab easily with anchors. The unit is easy to assemble. My 12 year old son did it mostly on his own except when it came time to install the lid which has gas shocks to hold the lid open when accessing the inside which is great. The panels lock together and the trim is screwed to the panels with self-tapping screws that come with it. The unit comes with extra hardware as well. All in all we are pleased with this enclosure. We could even install an electrical outlet on the interior side panel for convenience. We drilled through the other side for the water main leaving the enclosure. We could install a small heater iniside during the winter to prevent the pipes from freezing if necessary. I would recommend the unit.

I purchased this to house two 240L Wheelie Bins, which it does with ease. The only downsides are; 1) if you intend to use the chain lid lifting mechanisms the bins have to be positioned with the handles facing inwards, which is not too difficult with empty bins but more problematic if they are full and heavy. 2) it requires a bit of manoeuvring to get the bins in and out as there is a lip on the base of the box. Made more difficult because you can't access the handles to get leverage (see point 1) Referring to the assembly. This is a very weighty item so be prepared to seek assistance to get the box to the chosen position for assembly and installation. You might also require some assistance with the door and lid hanging, which require careful positioning in order to screw the hinges into the frame. I managed to achieve it on my own but it took some doing and a few curses along the way. This, together with the amount of assembly (and disassembly to correct my mistakes) meant that it took me nearly 3.5 hours to complete the whole job. Overall, the instructions are pretty comprehensive and self explanatory but on occasion they took some scrutinising and re-checking to ensure that I was on the right track. Be prepared though as this is definitely a "flat pack" item. The good news is that everything (other than tools) is in the box, including a few spare screws and brackets to hold shelves, which I didn't require because I'm using it for wheelie bin storage. As to tools, I used a positive drive screwdriver, with flexible extension (needed to access one of the screws on each of the hinges), a large normal screwdriver, which I found useful to lever open the channels slightly to allow the panels to fit more easily, and a mallet to tap them in. The most difficult installation being the flexible upright corner pieces which really took some time and effort to get them into the base. Once completely assembled I was able to slide the box the few feet needed to get it into its final position. The finished item looks really good and robust. Time and the British weather will be the final test. I have awarded it 5 stars for the finished article but I was tempted to deduct 1 star for the challenges I faced with the assembly.

Déception!!! La couleur ne correspond pas à la photo du produit. En fait la couleur est gris très claire. On se questionne à savoir si le produit acheté est neuf ou si en fait c’est un retour…

A sturdy and nice looking storage unit. Gas struts for the lid are helpful. Takes a couple of hours to assemble but the instructions are clear so just take your time. I put it together on the patio. Recommend a rubber mallet and a battery screw driver as there are a lot of screws!! Easy to move into position once assembled. Locking mechanism seems strong enough for rear garden storage but not secure enough for a determined thief.

I can’t believe how easy this was to put up , it says two people and it may be easier in some stages but I did it on my own. The instructions are second to none and extremely easy to follow. Every piece is numbered for ease as well. They even provide small right angle brackets and screws should you want to put your own shelf in. I can’t recommend this enough it is made from good quality plastic with a nice effect.

The product seemed good and sturdy but a panel was broken so it had to be returned. Packing it back up and having it collected was a lot of messing around plus it never reached its destination so Amazon had to be contacted and they promptly refunded me. I won’t buy bigger items that I can’t return via the post office ever again.
