OtterBox Galaxy S10+ Commuter Series Case - Black, Slim & Tough, Pocket-Friendly, with Port Protection

Love this case!! A bit more pricey than some of the others, but worth it. It fits my phone perfectly. Very sturdy and feels good when holding it. The material is a rubber like material that will obviously absorb shock from falls. VERY happy with my purchase!!

Great Case

My trusty six year old Samsung Galaxy S10+ has been an impressive workhorse during its field days. It’s been put through all the paces - indoors, outdoors, purses, luggage, backpacks, domestic & international travel, grubby hands, pokey fingers, a few minor drops & splish splashes. Hyper sanitizing with alcohol wipes throughout the height of COVID. It’s now quietly semi-retiring as a backup device but looks as perfect as the day I got it. Not a scratch or crack. Why? Because it lived in an Otterbox Defender. That case absorbed it all admirably and eventually let me know, it’s time to let go. Removing the case felt like losing a friend, I couldn’t just leave it bare. It didn’t need a Defender at this point but I couldn’t commit it to a generic ultra cheap case. I was surprised to see that Otterbox offered a Commuter case for the S10+ at fair price, gave it a shot. I’m happy to say my old Galaxy is rocking fresh digs that does the job *just right*. It’s a slimmer profile than the Defender, less rubbery (little more slippery than I’m used to but not too slick) yet still protects. If this device were still in hard use, I’d definitely go back to the Defender. At this price point, it’s a good deal.

I love my phone case I have no complaints about it, I've seen some reviews in the comment sections, so I decided to address some of the comments below to hopefully help out anyone considering to buy this case in the future? DOES THE COLOR CHANGE (light pink) ? : Yes, it is a light color and unfortunately the rubbery parts will get darker eventually just by you holding it. To prolong the change of color you should avoid putting it in your jeans pocket. CAN YOU CLEAN IT ? To help remove some of the discoloration in the past I've used ajax (lightly) use at your own risk, it helps but does not completely come all the way off. IS IT STURDY? : I haven't dropped my phone yet, but hopefully. From past experience when my phone had really bad drops using otter cases (now that phones are made from glass and has a glass back) that sometimes still can shatter, but the case saves your phone from it shattering all over because it absorbs the fall. If you don't have a glass backing phone then you should be fine. IS IT WORTH IT? : Yes, I feel like I get my money's worth buying a otter case for protection IS IT EASY TO TAKE ON AND OFF? The best way to remove your case is by putting your phone in the case from the bottom and snapping it in on the top, and to remove it take it off starting from the top. FEATURES? I like that it has the flaps to cover the ports to help reduce water going into those parts if it falls in water.

This phone case is sturdy, it fits the phone perfectly and provide great protection without adding bulk.

The design is simple with easy button access, & no interference with sound quality. The phone case fits snug & it definitely helps protect the corners of the screen from cracking

Me super encanto, la mejor compra que he hecho, muy resistente, protege todo alrededor de la pantalla del teléfono muy bien. Se me ha caído varias veces y mi teléfono intacto y la funda sigue en muy buenas condiciones.

Hülle ist absolut passgenau, griffig und ich finde es toll das alle Kabelzugänge (Akku und Kopfhörer) abgedeckt sind. Display und Kamera sind gut geschützt und auch die Tasten an der Seite lassen sich alle ohne Probleme bedienen. Nur die Plastik- Außenhülle könnte etwas griffiger sein. Jammern auf hohem Niveau, 4 Sterne. Toll!

I put an Otterbox Defender on my last phone, a Galaxy S8. It was bomb proof but a bit bulky. As the S8 was a manageable size, I accepted the bulk in exchangefor enhanced armour. My new S10 is a larger phone and I really didn't want more bulk than the S8, so I put the Otterbox Commuter on it. It is a slimmer encasement, but clearly still quite robust. The result was that the S10 in the Commuter is only slightly larger than the S8 in the Defender. I'm quite happy to trade off a minor amount of protection for that. My only complaint- and it's minor - is that the hard plastic shell on the commuter is more slippery in the hand than the Defender's rubber shell.

I could keep going on forever about how impressed I am with this case. The design is amazing. Colour is amazing. Feels really good in my hands. Easy to hold onto (very good grip). The buttons are super easy to locate by touch and feel amazing to press. Love the texture of the entire case. Otter box is always the best bet for your money. I will buy the commuter case again for my next phone! Thank you Otter Box!!!!! LOVE

It is a legit otterbox. Super sturdy. I have kids (and myself) who constantly drop my phone off of things on a regular basis. Looking at my phone, you would never know that it is dropped multiple times a day. This case has saved my phone from being dropped on cement and rocks.
