EXTREME FITNESS Olympic Weight Plates Cast Iron 2" Discs Barbell Bar Gym Sets

I was a little surprised there were no reviews for these before I ordered them as they appeared to look the part (from the images) and were competitively priced - actually, I think they were the cheapest out of all the ones I looked into. Still, as I liked the look and was on the assumption that weights are weights, I ordered a couple of each size (4 of the smaller sizes). These turned up fairly well packaged - the box was torn on a couple but then these are heavy items and the weights themselves arrived perfectly fine. They look the part (exactly like the pictures) and they weigh what I’d expect - I haven’t weighed each one individually but after years of lifting weights you get a feel for what each weight should weigh. Anyway, I’m delighted and will be ordering more when the finances allow me to! UPDATE: I'm not going to adjust my rating as they are good plates but I won't be ordering any more owing to the company price gouging. For reference, 2x20kg before the pandemic cost £86.99, they currently cost £139.99. So approximately a 65% increase in the space of 24 months.

Decent weight plates. I like that the metal is coated. It will literally last my entire life and then some

Ideal for a home gym as low cost and indestructible. However, I do miss the rounded corners of a rubberised weight. Also no gaps to put your fingers thorough. If you just want some metal to hang on your olympic bar - these are great. If you want to use for other exercises (i.e. front/lateral raises) you may find them uncomfortable to hold.

The weights are finished very well ,the service was excellent. I will be back for more.
