Miss Jones Baking Organic Yellow Cake and Cupcake Mix, Non-GMO, Vegan-Friendly, Moist and Fluffy: Vanilla (Pack of 6)

Wow, this cake was sooo good. I used it for my child's first birthday and multiple people said it was the best cake they ever had. And it's healthy! Not low calorie or low sugar but it has no bad ingredients. Just be aware, as I was not, that if you plan on baking a cake, you must split the recipe into two 8" or 9" rounds. I only had one pan, but I had enough time to cook it in two batches. I waited ~20 minutes after the first cake cooled off to remove it and start the second. I put a little frosting between the two cakes and around the outside and top (same brand). It turned out beautifully! I refrigerated the leftovers overnight (not sure if necessary), and it tasted just as good the next day! So moist and delicious. Perfect consistency. Highly highly recommend.

Used this for my daughters first birthday’s smash cake with the matching frosting and it was AMAZING, great taste and quality.

For Christmas we are not supposed to get any snow, so I thought I'd make some vanilla cupcakes. This mix makes about 16 cupcakes and if you use the 365 Vanilla Frosting Mix it is just perfect. I didn't need to add any more vanilla to the cake mix, but did add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the icing. The cake mix is easy to blend together with a whisk. You just add three eggs, 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter. Then scoop up the batter and place in your paper liners. I baked for over 20 minutes instead of the recommended 18 because that wasn't quite enough when you have 16 instead of 18 cupcakes. You may or may not be able to get exactly 18 cupcakes but I managed to get 16! This cake mix makes cupcakes that taste totally homemade! But the great thing is you don't have to measure all the flour and other ingredients. So it is pretty easy. I was very happy with this mix and would buy it again! The thing that sold me on this was that it has no palm kernel oil in it. Yay! Some of us are so allergic to that! Enjoy! ~The Rebecca Review P.S. I also tried the chocolate cake mix and tried to make 18 cupcakes. Problem was nearly all of the baked cupcakes overflowed their cupcake liners when they were filled with batter 3/4 full. I knew that was not a good idea but I followed the instructions. You need at least 24 cupcake liners and only fill them about 1/2 full I think. The chocolate cake is more like a dark chocolate flavor not milk chocolate. It probably needs a bit more sugar. Even with icing the cupcakes tasted more like dark chocolate cake!!!

Dude I just tried these out yesterday, and they are AMAZING!!!! The directions were super easy to follow. They turned out squishy and fluffy, moist, but ofc NOT in a bad way. I couldn't stop eating them!!! THANK GOD they weren't crazy sweet!!! I will definitely continue to purchase this brand cake mix. I had fun turning these into cupcakes. I'm so glad I bought 2 of these at once. I also purchased the chocolate chip cookies in this brand as well. I can't wait to try those out!!! Yummy.... Get you some! You won't regret it, especially when everything begin to start tasting waaaay too sweet to you. 10/10 RECOMMEND!!! UPDATE: Sooo, I decided to drop by, again, to save this cake mix in my cart, and I see that it went FROM $4 to $13, NOW THAT IS CRAZY!!!!!! FOR ONE PACK!!! DUDE IT WAS LITERALLY $4 and some change!!! I guess I have to look somewhere else for some gd cake mix.

I baked this cake exactly according to instructions. It was dry, dense, & tasted like cornbread. I have baked many box cakes & they are always light & fluffy. I was looking for one with non bioengineered ingredients. While this one checked the organic & non bioengineered boxes, it left MUCH to be desired in flavor & texture. If you buy more than one, you cannot return or get a refund. I will just add it to my chicken food so as not to waste $20 on 2 cake mixes.

I used this mix to make my daughter’s 1st birthday cake as she has a dairy allergy. It is SO good and I would use again in a heartbeat. Love Miss Jones products. Pair with their frosting and you’re set 🙌🏻
