Badger Rose Face Cleansing Oil, Organic Facial Cleanser & Makeup Remover, Non-Greasy Moisturizing Skin Balancing Gentle Face Cleanser w/Pure Rose Oil, 2 fl oz Glass Bottle

I recently purchased this face cleansing oil along with the post-cleansing Badger Damascus Rose Face Oil for moisturizing. I cannot express how much I love these products! I have been using both products for about a month. My skin feels so much more clean and moisturized, really. I've also noticed I've had maybe only 2 small pimples in the entire month - much fewer than I've been experiencing previously. With spot treatment and no picking on my part, they went away quickly and never got out of hand. Easily covered with concealer. I think this may have also just been expected since starting this routine would by default start drawing impurities to the surface. I have struggled with hormonal adult acne on/off for the last several years. I've tried everything to help with it but struggled to find something to consistently kept the breakouts at bay. Several months ago, I read that oil facial cleansing can actually help eliminate acne due to how much better it cleanses the skin. Since the oil in the cleanser is attracted to the sebum in your skin, the impurities in your sebum are brought to the surface and wiped away with the oil cleanser and a warm face cloth. Just like we learned in science class, 'like attracts like'. I don't know what took me so long to connect these dots! My face feels DEEPLY cleansed when I'm done washing my face, and yet the process is much more gentle on your skin. Admittedly, I was skeptical and fearful the oil may break me out more. I tried using coconut oil as a cleanser before buying this product, but eventually noticed my skin was breaking out even worse. I did some additional research and read that coconut oil has excellent properties for the skin, but is more comodogenic than other oils. This oil cleanser has a variety of oils that I've read online are the best options for face cleansing. It does not contain coconut oil. If you're worried about breakouts, don't be. Here's the routine I've been following: - Squirt 2-4 pumps of oil into my palms and rub the oil a bit in my palms before applying to my DRY face, neck, and chest area. How many pumps depends on how much makeup I wore and if I applied mascara that day. It removes mascara very easily, too. - Let the oil rest on your face while the water is warming up. Soak a wash cloth in pretty warm water. I've mostly been using these microfiber wash clothes I bought on Amazon. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LWIINUS/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&th=1 -Press the warm wash cloth over my entire face and hold there for several seconds. Then I proceed to wipe away the oil, taking care to rinse the cloth after a couple of wipes and then using the opposite side of the wash cloth afterwards to avoid re-applying a dirty part of the cloth if it can be avoided. I sometimes use the same washcloth at night and the next morning without trouble. I never re-use the same cloth more than twice before replacing. - Once I've rinsed clean, I splash cold water on my face to close my pores. Then pat (don't rub) dry. - I've been adding a drop of tea tree oil to a couple pumps of the post-cleansing rose face oil and massaging that into the cleansed areas. I figured if I were going to break out, at least the tea tree oil might help. I then follow up with a nightly moisturizer (like Elta MD PM moisturizer). I just saw this same Badger brand sells a Beauty Balm that some people apply at night for extra moisturizing. I am going to order that since sometimes I do get a little eczema on my forehead, and the tea tree can be a little drying even when applied with the face oil. I've applied this same face oil and drop of tea tree oil in the morning before applying my daytime moisturizer (Elta MD AM moisturizer) and/or Elta's sunscreen. Elta MD products are great if you have acne prone skin. They use excellent ingredients that don't break skin out. The scent smells very nice. It's a light and natural rose scent...nothing synthetic. I don't know where this has been all my life. I'm so glad I started researching this and stumbled upon these products on Amazon! For reference, it's been a month and I still have about 1/4 the bottle of cleansing oil left and about 50% of the post-cleansing oil remaining in the original bottles. Perfect for soothing those sebaceous filaments, which if you don't know, are those annoying white bits sticking out of every perfectly healthy pore in your T-zone. Use WITHOUT WATER, 2-3 pumps should do it, and let it set for a couple minutes to do the dirty work. After that, I add a clay-gel-oil combo on top of it, let it sit again, then rinse the whole luxurious mess off and exfoliate lightly with a cheap washcloth. My skin is never not soft and smooth. Particularly good for those who like clay-gel thing but find it too trying alone. Use this oil first to prevent dryness. Thick, smooth consistency; great quality and lasts for a long time, so excellent value for the price. Highly moisturizing, especially in winter or after sun or swimming, and does NOT clog pores. If you haven't switched to Badger products and/or cleansing oils, which are incredibly healthy for the skin, you're missing out.

I have been using all 3 of these rose face products together for the last month and I couldn't be happier. I have a nickel sized dark sun spot on my cheek. I just realized it's almost gone. I also had sun spots near eyes that are completely gone. I bought these products to keep my face moisturizered, getting rid of sun spots was an unexpected benefit. I know what I will be using forever on my face. My new favorite products!

After using a full bottle of the Damascus Rose, I can "clearly" say that this product will be my go-to facial cleanser. Luckily, I did not read the limited bad reviews ahead of time. I am 52, suffered from acne until age 45 and would recommend that anyone who experiences breakouts while using this product, please try to wait it out. After approximately 2-4 weeks, the breakouts should not only stop, but your skin should look better than ever. Although my mature skin doesn't experience the breakouts it once did, this product did dry my face out for 2 weeks. I followed the same circular motion dry cleansing followed by a very warm cloth laid on my face and then gently wiped away the oil. The dryness went away and I am now left with glowing, dare I say, beautiful skin. My dermatologist even asked me what I was doing to make my skin look so good! Your face should not feel oily after wiping off the cleansing oil. It should feel silky. If it does feel oily after wiping away the product, perhaps try the argan or seabuckthorn profiles. I can assure anyone reading this that my reviews are 100% my own, and can only wish that Badger wanted/needed me as a product reviewer. Read their label, watch their story and give a little time to see the results. In my personal experience, this is an excellent product!

Simple, clean, quality oil cleanser.

I am always looking for ways to replace my cosmetic items with organic and this cleansing oil is great. There is menthol, which makes your face feel tingly and fresh but you have to be wary around the eyes. Overall highly recommend!

I received the rose one as a Christmas present and loved it as a daily cleanser. I ran out a week ago and decided to try another scent. The Seabuckthorn smells phenomenal! I’m very allergic to strong perfumes so it’s always nice to come across natural scents that don’t cause headaches and other allergic reactions. This oil cleanser is also nice and thick, so it covers more area and really feels like it’s getting in and cleansing all the stuff out. I got this as a secondary cleanser to an expensive oil cleansing set so that I didn’t use so much of the expensive stuff, and I ended up liking it just as much!

I love this face cleansing oil! It is smooth and smells good. It cleans well, without leaving sticky or greasy residue. It makes your face, body and skin fresh and clean. It is thick. It does not dry your skin out. It us a good value.

I use this oil as a skin cleanser and a moisturizer. Friends ask me for my skin care regime. Badger products are fantastic.
