I bought it and it was very skeptical, But it's what made the radio work perfectly.

After spending so much time attempting to make this harness work on my 99 328i with factory navigation I ended up having to cut it up and re-wire both ends as they weren’t wired the same as factory Eonon. Radio with boot up but no CAN signal and no audio. Ended up using the piggyback harness included with my radio and cutting off all the junk from this harness and scavenging the piggyback radio plug as well. Basically just saying this for the extra wire length

this product arrive in 2 days. Fits perfectly for this headunit. Installing it, of course, is another story but that was expected. Took me about 4 hours cleanly install the cable from the trunk. Perfect length for E53
