Clean, high-protein boost - mixes well, no weird after taste
I've been using this unflavored whey protein powder daily for 2 weeks. I was specifically looking for something without any added extras so I can mix it into smoothies, homemade popsicles, and waffles without it changing the flavor of the food. What I like: • it mixes in pretty easily • it really is unflavored with just the faintest hint of dairy as you'd expect. • Great protein to calorie ratio. perfect for those of us on a GLP1 medication and watching our protein intake! • Minimal ingredients ... whey protein powder and sunflower or soy lecithin (keeps it in powder form) Things to know: • it's not 100% flavorless. No added flavors of course but it does have a faint taste of dairy as expected. • If you mix it with just plain water, it will look milky, not clear. • the scoop was buried. I guess that's to be expected. Shake the bag some and it will rise to the surface. I mostly use this in my iced coffee each morning along with some oat milk. Delicious and easily digestible, I will be repurchasing in the larger container.

Try this powder if you need to increase your protein without increasing your carbs or calories!
This was my 6th protein powder and thank goodness I kept trying because this is the ONE! I had trouble meeting my protein goals after WLS a year ago. I lost a ton of weight very quickly and my overall nutrition was suffering. I tried 5 other protein powders but they were all no good. They were either extremely gritty or had a horrible taste or both! This one is smooth, creamy and doesnt flavor my coffee- I use it daily to make protein-coffee. The 25g of protein that early in the day gives me an energy boost and helps me feel full for hours. I am diabetic so the zero carbs is also a huge deal to me. The only warnings I have are to make sure to mix it in cold water, milk or creamer. I use an 8$ milk frother to mix it before adding it to coffee or any hot liquid.... I learned that the hard way! It makes the protein clump together into a disgusting gelatinous mess when mixed in hot liquid. The protein denaturates and you absolutely DO NOT want to see that. Mixing it completely in a small amount of cold milk fixed that problem. I added a picture of my coffee that shows how well it mixes in, no clumps, no taste, no carbs! There are frequently sales so the price is very doable if you wait for a sale. The refill I am buying today is 40% off so the 1lb bag is just under 20$. That size will last me about a month. Thats worth it for the relief of FINALLY getting a good textured powder that helps me meet my daily goals. I also haven't noticed any stomach issues with this powder. It does have a faint odor but it is VERY faint. I just dont stick my nose in the bag! Once its in the coffee theres no smell at all. Try this powder if you need to increase your protein without increasing your carbs or calories!

Love this....but pricey
I absolutely love ISOPURE protein powder. I have purchased it many times for in the past 8 years, however, since COVID, the prices jacked up that I have not purchased as much. I have just recently, because there I guess was a small sale going on, either with Amazon or Isopure, I'm not sure, but the prices went back up, again. This is easily mixed in coffee, smoothies, granola, oatmeal, or making protein balls for snacks! It is easy on my stomach, but it's always best to check the labels just in case for anyone else. I love the fact that most Isopure protein powders have the vitamins and minerals added, because msot low or zero carb protein powders are lacking! When just mixed as a protein shake with unsweetened almond milk, the consistency is smooth and the taste is great! Some other powders, I have to use a small amount of sweetener, but with Isopure, I don't. I even use the unflavored and sometimes vanilla in low-carb baking, like in protein pancakes. If they would lower the prices again, I would purchase these again on a regular basis!!!!!

Good Dissolvability, Almost No Taste (Unflavored)
I bought this after reading the reviews, I was hesitant because of the price, but it met my needs of no additives, and no sweetners. I like to sweeten things on my own with honey. This is what I found: 1. Reviews about the inability to reseal the package are true. I cut the bag open carefully, it was impossible to reseal from the very first moment. I keep the bag in another ziplock. Surely this could be improved upon. 2. Reveiws about dissolvability were mixed, but I found the product dissolved even in water with a spoon. I generally use it in smoothies, but have used it in yogurt, hot chocolate, and oatmeal. Dissolves perfectly. 3. Reviews about the taste were mixed, but I found the taste mild enough to mix into the above listed foods —± yogurt, hot chocolate, oatmeal, smoothies — with no detectable taste. If you mix the product with plain water to drink (I tried this!) the taste is not pleasant, but other than that, it works well. 4. Reviews about the amount needed, the size of the scoop, etc., I found misleading. The scoop is the standard scoop I find in all protein powders: 1/4 cup. The amount of protein per scoop is 25 grams. Pretty much the same as all the other protein powder products I've used. Makes you wonder about truth in reporting across the industry...you'd think that without the additives there would be more protein per scoop, but...??? Overall, I was pleased with the product and have purchased it again.

Using this to increase protein for my husband. It mixes into coffee and just tastes like you added cream. Mixes very smoothly.

Dead spider inside brand new container!
I've been buying Isopure for a few years now. I've never had any issues other than the price going up tremendously during COVID and never going back down. I do like that the 1 scoop needed for 25g of protein is smaller, where most other powders, the scoop is huge. It's silky and smooth and mixes well for me, where other products do not. The unflavored is truly unflavored to me as well. However, I experienced something today that still has me grossed out and scares me regarding continued use. I came up on a great deal, buy1 big tub get a 2nd at 50% off. I opened one of the sealed tubs just today. I took a scoop and gently tapped it on the side of my coffee cup to sprinkle the powder in little by little while I stir it in the coffee to ensure it mixes well. I do this until the powder is all gone every day. But today, while doing this, I noticed at one point the powder on the edge of the scooper looked stringy, (hard to describe) like the powder had a tiny fuzzy on it but it was so tiny that I disregarded it, shrugging it off as possibly thicker powder or something and kept on sifting and mixing Next, I saw a dark colored object fall from the scooper, into the cup along with the powder. I scooped whatever it was out of my coffee and it was a dead spider. I poured the remaining powder that was in the scooper onto a paper towel to check through it and there was also a piece of wobbly filmly/ subtance covered with the powder in there as well. I went through Amazon customer service chat that promptly refunded the jug I bought for 50% off, no questions were asked. I was ok with that initially but I am unsettled after thinking more about it because I feel like I can't use the product anymore because I'm so grossed out and do not trust the quality assurance of the company and their product now before it gets sealed and final packaged. I can't use the brand new jug that was partially refunded because it's contaminated obviously but I'm scared to use the other brand new jug now as well, I'm afraid to and it makes me feel nauseous thinking about what if this container has bugs in it also and I consume one unknowingly and how many times could this have happened before over the years and I didn't know and feel I should be compensated for the other container as well. This stuff is not cheap and at almost $70 for one container, it shouldn't be wasted. Prior to this happening, I'd recommend this over all others but now I just can't. Maybe their customer service will reply to my messages to help with some way to make it better for me but as for right now, I can't support this product any longer. Not clean ingredients.

The search for protein
So I’ve had gastric sleeve and regained weight. I’ve been using a small dose of Mounjaro to get my weight back down and just rejump start my surgery. Since starting it i literally can’t eat or drink anything. A few sips of water and I feel extremely full. So I've had a VERY hard time getting enough to eat let alone protein. I also have an aversion to milks and protein powder. Like, I smell it and I wanna puke or taste it and gag. I drink the premier protein drinks usually but every once in a while I get a chunky one and then cannot drink them again. (Texture issues suck) I’ve tried so many protein bars and shakes and I get one bite or one sip and noooope. So I found the protein2O clear drinks (great taste but too much to drink for me for only 20 grams) and realized there’s a clear protein! Say whaaa okay so deep dive into that but find an unflavored powder and brought here. I’ve had so many experiences of being excited and then throwing up, so I was hesitant. The smell reminds me of just a carton of plain milk. No real scent per se, but that’s my best description. The directions say 1 scoop for 8 oz but I started with half a scoop in my cottage cheese and yogurt. (Since my bowl is already small, no way a whole scoop would combine into that!) and it mixed well. I do think I will try mixing just the cottage cheese with the powder and then add the yogurt as it took away the sweetness of my cherry yogurt. It didn’t change the flavor of it or anything it just diluted the flavor and added a more milk-y taste to it. Not too bad. I made it through the whole bowl and didn’t seem to have a texture issue of it being gritty or anything like that. Which could have just been my choice of cottage cheese covering the texture, but it worked. I can’t say it’s unflavored though. Like I said it gives off a milk taste. Nothing like a regular protein powder or drink though. I’m not a fan of milk so it’s still not something I’m like “yay wahoo put it in everything.!” But for now no gritty texture in my cottage cheese so that’s a great start! I might work up to adding it to other things but we will see. I don’t think it’s a good thing to mix with sweet things though like I said it diluted the favor of my cherry yogurt so just think about the things your mixing it with. Value wise 16 servings is stated on the bag compared to the 16 pack of premier protein shakes, it’s a bit cheaper than the premier protein. Not by much, but is comparable and more on the affordable side of protein for sure. It has no other fluff or frills though like the premier protein with vitamins. it’s just protein. Do with that what you will.
