AWESOME VALUE! SUPERB INGREDIENTS!! My goldies tear these up like a predator! Even though my goldies are slightly on the bigger size I prefer to feed them granules/pellets that are on the smaller size. I've lost fish in the past eating pellets that were bigger and harder to digest. These are perfect!!

The fact that it floats, no sinks, as two advantages: # I can tell if I'm overfeeding (and scoop out leftovers if I am) by seeing how much is still floating after 5 minutes of their feeding. # The fish have to come UP to feed so I get the fun of watching them up close.

I've always been a fan of Hikari's koi food and have been using it for years. My group has some new additions and in general I hate flake food. The fact that these are in a pellet form means I can measure my feedings more closely and I can mix feed both my bigger goldfish and my younguns with different pellet sizes without anyone losing out. This also limits waste and makes water care much easier. The mini pellets are geared for high growth which may or may not be ideal for them but I can then transition them to Hikari's maintenance pellets that I feed to everyone else.

Our fish seems to be happy with this product. It floats well giving the fish plenty of time to eat it before it sinks to the bottom of the tank. These are the tiny pellets. Although our fish is large he didn't seem to mind the size.

My Goldfish really love this. I have a 300l outdoor pond with about a dozen goldfish of different sizes and they all eat the food eagerly. I have been feeding them this for about 2 years, It floats on top of the water so makes it easier to judge how much to feed them without overfeeding.

Have previously used a different variety of this brand, but decided to purchase this when our goldfish when from orange to white! Fishes colour has returned slightly but no major change. Much prefer this type of fish food, it is nowhere near as messy as the flake kind. It also floats on the surface, so you can easily remove uneaten food instead of it contaminating the tank. Our fish loves this food & goes crazy when he's sees the bag!

I give this food as an addition to the other food. The other food is low in protein and more plant based. As soon as I gave this the growth kicked in. It is heavy so you cant give ONLY this food. Mix it in with other food or give it once a day and other lighter food other time of day. My Goldfish and Guppy both shown growth and improved health. Their fins started showing more structure and colour. The fish absolutely need this along with other low priced food you might be giving. It is a nutrition heavy food. Good fr this brand as always gives high quality!
