The Quilting Bible, 3rd Edition: The Complete Photo Guide to Machine Quilting

I am an advanced quilter and I even found some things in here very new and useful! For beginner quilters this is a must have book. It will help you learn things the right way and avoid many headaches and frustrations. Supplement this with time saving rotary cutting techniques and you will be very happy and able to make quilts accurately and faster. I do wish the author included how to spray baste a quilt, which is what I do but using the spray baste very sparingly on the batting. I like glue basting for applique projects.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who just began quilting. Then I bought it for myself after I looked at hers even thought I have been machine quilting for some years. It is a really good resource and there are even patterns in it. The pictures are really clear.

Awesome for basic info and patterns. Well illustrated. I was able to learn things I had done incorrectly in past projects to make new projects better as well as new things that I needed to learn. It is a definite must for the beginning quilter. From the list of terminology and basic tools to patterns and pictures of completed projects.

I bought this product after seeing a copy a friend owns. The book shows ways to take each step in the quilt making project. It also offers some interesting quilts and blocks. There are directions for quilt blocks and whole quilts. My one criticism is that the directions leave you a little short unless you have taken basic quilt making to learn things like "square up the blocks at this point". BUt knowing that, the book is very helpful. I reach for it a lot when doing different projects.

I love this book an can’t wait to try it out an it do have patterns inside as well an easy to understand even beginners can as well cause am a novice an I do understand the piecing an putting it together parts to make a complete project mabe not all 100% but it’s a great buy u will not be disappointed

I got this book as a gift for my Mom and she told me that she loves it! My mom has quilted in the past and isn't new to it but she said there was still so much useful information for her in this book. She said she would recommend it to anyone who is new to quilting or experienced!

There are a number of books for quilters entitled Bible, however I feel this one truly is what it says. Fabulous projects, hints, different ideas, gorgeous pictures and clear instruction. If you only ever buy one Quilting Bible make it this one. I will be using it for advice, ideas and colour matching. Worth it's weight in gold.
