Wooden ladles are very over looked, this was great and is still my favorite. I switched over to wooden non glue non plastic tools because my friend I cook for had signs of gi issues and it was really concerning . I got rid of Teflon- plastic garbage and even plastic cups too and Tupperware. His issues improved greatly and the blood ceased. I know money is tight rn but dying early sucks more so get your plastic in the trash and make the switch - your body will thank you

It’s exactly the right size I was looking for. Don’t think you’re going to get a great value. I mean if you drop it or bang it against something, it’s going to chip and break. And some of the coloring/stain has worn off with only two uses. So that probably went in the food… anyway. But if you’re lucky, you get what you pay for on amazon. Plus an extra $5 added to the price so you can get “free” shipping with your ever inflating prime… otherwise just put it in that box in your trunk with all the other cheap, broken, crap you have to return to amazon this week.

Great ladle. I was worried about splitting when purchasing this after reading other reviews but I haven’t had any issues. I don’t use it super often and am careful to not let it soak whenever I do use it, so as not to let the wood swell and cause damage. It’s held up well and still looks like the day I got it. It’s thick and sturdy without being bulky. I’m happy to not be putting more microplastics in my families food when I use it.

This is the eleventh piece of Faay teak utensils that I have purchased and that does not count the two pieces I bought for my sisters’ Christmas gifts this year. The quality is impeccable, the wood is beautiful even after 2 years, and the customer service is 110%.
