Great shielding fabric, adheres well but if you use a glue it does permeate the fabric easily so wait for tackiness first. Also leave some space for folds or movement if you are putting in a purse or wallet. Beautiful fabric though, easy to cut and work with. Shielding works perfect if no “gaps” around the device, otherwise it limits access pretty well. Will use in any or all my projects.

This solved my chatty subwoofer problem! I have an early 2000s era powered 12" sub for my home theater system that picks up all manner of noise, a lot from the nearest WIFI mesh node. This was most noticeable when the rest of the system was off, but it was even loud enough to add noise we could hear when watching movies and shows. Covering the sub with a sheet of this and some towels to dampen the pressure-induced rattling of the sheet did the trick - it's now completely silent when the system is off and there's no noticeable interference noise when we're using the system. It's not the most aesthetically pleasing solution (no fault of the item), but it's good enough for us.

Really happy with this copper fabric! I used it to block out EMF and WiFi signals from my smart meter, and it’s actually working. The fabric feels strong and good quality, and it’s big enough to cover a lot of space. The golden color is nicer than I expected not too flashy but looks decent. It came with a long roll of sticky conductive tape, which was super handy and saved me from having to buy extras. I noticed my WiFi signal dropped behind the fabric, so that tells me it’s doing its job. If you’re sensitive to EMF or just want to cut down on exposure around your house, this is definitely worth trying. I’d buy it again.

i used it to wrap around my cell phone when not in use (in order to avoid emf exposure). It did work for the intended purpose because when the phone was on i called the phone from the landline and the call could not come through. To those that say that it didnt work, I would like to say that in order for it to work I needed to completely wrap the fabric around the entire phone in layers (at least 3 layers). Also, I attempted to simply lay the phone on a hard surface then drape the fabric over it....but the fabric did not work this way and the call still came through. I know that it isnt explained this way on Amazon (which can be frustrating) however the fabric does work appropriately when used the way I am describing. Also over time the fabric will degrade making the fabric useless. For me it lasts approximately 4 to 5 months. The reason I gave it only 4 stars out of 5 is because it now takes up to 2 months to recieve the item after ordering.... it used to take 2 weeks to recieve after ordering. I dont know why it would this long.

Cloth (doubled) was placed on the wall to shield the router in another room that sits ~ 1 m off the wall . Measurement made via Android App , also 1 m off the wall. So the total distance between 2.4 gHz router and wifi measuring device is about 2 meters Results: the signal strength without cloth -29 dB, and -41 dB with the cloth on the wall I think all the reflections did not help the case and it was expected. Note, whilst experimenting with "shaping" the cloth, I noticed some weak signals from other sources were amplified rather significantly.

I just wrap my cell phone up in the copper material just to see if it work . The copper actually works well !!! No signal can get through and my son called my cell and said he could not get through not even vm ! Very pleased.
