awesome
Bought this for my 6yr old daughters b-day. It is the right size and also made for 6yrs and up. It is well made, the back being plastic which I happen to love bc I won't worry over it being broken. Thick sturdy plastic not cheap :) so far so good, and as far as sound, we are not too worried about it being tuned, as it will take time for her to be able to want to "really" learn to play. Great price as well, even if she never learns!

Love it!
Love It! My 3 year old niece loved it. I am not a guitarist so I have no idea if it "tunes" but I can say that for the price it is super cute, big like a "real" guitar and seems pretty durable. the back and neck part are wooden and the front part where the heart is is a plastic which is great cause it will last longer for her!

Girls Guitar
Got this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas as she had expressed interest in wanting a guitar. She loves it! She does not have any formal training and does not take lessons but she loves to put on shows with the guitar and strum on it. It seems to be good quality for the price and very cute.

impressed, great for students first guitar if under 10
Fun guitar. Bought for a musically inclined 5 year old. Holds a tune well. Sounds real good. She loves it. Plays it instead of my Martin Guitar. Thank goodness also bought her the snark so she can tun it up. Get device. Get one too

No good!
I bought this for my daughter thinking she could learn and at her age something made of plastic isn't a bad idea. However, this guitar is a no guitar at all and nothing more than a waste of money. After the 4th fret you cannot get a coherent note. That is only part of the problem since this thing won't hold a tune on any key. I played professionally for some time, so this isn't my first rodeo with playing, tuning, and teaching. Needless to say it's a piece of junk that a kid can bang around and tear up. If that's what you're looking for great. If you are serious about wanting to teach your child to appreciate an instrument and learn, don't buy this. I went out and spent the money like I should have and bought her a nice Yamaha beginner just like I had.

Girls love pink
My daughter wanted a pink guitar for Christmas. Growing up in a family with highly musical influence I felt the obligation to get her this. The family members that could play the organ/piano, guitar, sing have all passed in my life and my daughter never had to opportunity to know them. I talk about my family a lot to make sure she knows her roots but I am not guided with any ones assistants concerning music. She has played with this guitar since Christmas and she told me that she needs something else. She found out her music teacher at school was leaving and she has been sad about it. She told me this evening that she wanted to see a book with things on it to play!! My baby is in kindergarten. I think she may have the musician spark in her. I had hoped when I bought this guitar for her instructions and at least a small lesson or even string book accompany it. There was nothing but the pink guitar! Plastic but sturdy. I think if I order a book I may be able to help her learn notes and playing. Good but not Great, we will see how a book can help and if so! This item may be worth the price!
