Actually grows in FULL shade. Impressive.
Bought this after a family member saw an advert for it, I had my doubts considering it was going to be sowed in an area of my garden that never gets the sun. It was only a thin strip of garden that was in perpetual shade. As I have a south facing garden and the area in question was the shade from the fence panels. And it actually sprouted. It's a very different colour of green to my lawn next to it but it looks like it's thriving and grew really well actually. Not sure it was 2 weeks. It was more like 3 but yeh. I'd recommend this grass seed to anyone who wants a lawn but the lawn doesn't get sun. Well, fear not. This stuff WILL grow in full shade and it's actually a really nice dark green colour. I'm not fussed what colour green it is, grass is grass. Looks alot better then bare cracked soil for sure. Well worth the money! Exceeded expectations. 😉

Ok
Good grass seed however I really cannot tell the difference from any other normal grass seed tbh! Planted this same time as basic £4 seed and the cheaper one looks exactly the same.

Lush and green
This is the only grass that has ever taken root in my garden. We had a huge bald patch where the dog has a wee right in sight of our best view of the back garden from the house. My son recommended it as coming up where nothing else will grow, like under trees and hedges and he was right. I planted it in the hot weather, roughening up the surface with a fork and sprinkled the seed and covered it with compost. It started sprouting in 10 or so days and has never stopped. It is certainly very lush and thick and a lovely shade of green and I am very pleased. I did put some netting over it to encourage our dog to wee somewhere else, but that is the only concession it got, apart from watering it in the hot weather. I haven't cut it yet, but I have mown the lawn around it. It is now about 3'' or 4'' tall. The photo was taken about 3 weeks after planting. It is now about 6 weeks and looks even better with all the rain we have had!

Good Grass seed seems to grow quickly
Used Before, no complaints, Best to keep covered until taken as birds seem to enjoy feeding on seed.

On my way to Green Pastures
Well what can i say my husband and i prepared our ground the best we could for the fact being our soil is quite sandy watered it well let it dry till damp not sodden raked it gently over and scattered our seed, gently raked again and watered it. the following day was hot and i mean hot so we watered it three times in the morning in the afternoon and last thing at night. three days of rain ensured good watering, Gentle rake and water the next day and shock this morning i have 5 mm of grass in five days it really is as another reviewer wrote poof grass literally overnight, So happy i would so far recommend if your soil is not great like ours then this is showing promise.
