This bbq is great value. It took a while to set up and I’m good at putting things together. Took me around 1.5 hours. Once built I’d say it’s fairly sturdy, with no creaking or unstable / loose points. Cooking wise, it’s a bit area - enough for a party of 5/6 people, and the warming rack is really handy. The thermometer works very well and is extremely helpful in knowing when it is hot enough to bake. Nice touches like the tray for dishes at the side and a larger one below. Hooks for utensils and a bottle opener. Very please I bought this having looked around for quite some time and comparing. Great value for money too. Recommended.

A really good BBQ and I am speaking as someone who has had many over the years. Sturdy, well put together and huge cooking area. Love the adjustable height for the charcoal layer. The only drawback was that it wasn't that easy to put together. How anyone can put it together in 30 mins as some clam I don't know- it took me over 2 hours. But it is worth the work.

This is a good value, well designed and made, charcoal barbecue. I liked the height adjustment of the charcoal tray, the ventilators, the ash tray, and the lid with temperature gauge. Quite time-consuming and fiddly to assemble but nothing to frighten a competent DIY'er with a few simple tools. Used it twice already with excellent results. Looks as if it will last a long time.

Very pleased with this BBQ, which I've been using for a week now pretty much every day. Assembly is not complex but you will need to take it slowly, check all the time that you're using the correct parts, and set aside two or three hours for the job. You'll also need a set of spanners as well as a crosshead screwdriver. Assembled, the BBQ is sturdy and quite heavily built. In use (with lumpwood charcoal) it rapidly gets up to a strong heat with the lid down and lower vents open - well before the charcoal has settled and stopped smoking and flaming. The height of the bed is adjustable so you can have it up to get the grill really hot and then lower it to prevent it from scorching the food. There is a useful shelf over the grill to use for keeping cooked meat warm. Vents can be opened or closed in order to control the pace of the heating or to use the BBQ as a smoker. The grill is easily cleaned with a wire brush and the ash falls through into a removable tray at the bottom. As with all BBQs it takes a few trial runs to get used to it. A thermometer set in the lid is very useful when judging whether enough heat has been built up for cooking.

Great bbq. But took longer than expected. The instructions were easy to follow. The reason for 4 stars for assembly is due to one threaded locking nut for one of the wheels. had to buy a pack of 20 m8 locking nuts from B&Q which only cost £3.20. plus thread knackered on one side of the coal tray but had a spare nut in the shed which fixed it ok. Not worth sending back for those minor issues. But overall great bit of kit for the price

Missing parts. Useless item. Delayee trying to put it together and missed out on a refund. Tried to contact the seller. They did not acknowledge my email. Amazon would not help because it went past the refund. We are now stuck with an item we can't use.

I don’t have an issue as such with this item. Fairly easy to assemble and we have used it no problem at all. The problem we had was the first package had 2 left hand sides so needed to be replaced. However there was only return or replace as a whole item, this meant i had to return at my own expense of £46.02 (heavy item, 29kgs, 2 person lift) which i am struggling to get a refund for. The second bbq arrived with the right parts and was fairly easy to assemble. The item is good, but i only hope you are not unlucky enough to have any missing parts! Customer service needs to be sorted! It should be a streamlined process for return and the customer should not be having to arrange return and pay costs up front.

Lovely, well built barbecue. I was a bit worried reading other reviews regarding the bolts and threading of the welded nuts, as I’ve been stung in the past by cheap metalwork in this area. This barbecue however went up very easily and is very solid. The bolts went into all the nuts with no difficulty. I imagine people who have issues maybe used power tools to put the bolts in, which if they’re not sat properly will just strip the threads, but with a screw driver had no issues at all. Very impressed!
