It works great mine is 10ft off my apt ralling I get over 15 plus miles away and swr is 1.5 all channels

No ground plane is what I needed. This is a 1/4 wave antenna and is very wide banded. It’s low profile, and does not attract a lot of attention. Keep in mind, this is a 1/4 wavelength antenna so the radiation pattern will be high compared to a narrow-banded base station antenna. Wide band=low gain. Please do your research before you purchase.

It doesn’t perform as described save your money and get something else won’t be getting another one.

So I got this thinking it would be OK to do some light skip and talk to the locals in my area. I hear some people over the static, but when I tuned my scanner to the CB frequencies the scanner had just about as good reception as this antenna. My SWR are 3 with 18' of cable which was recommended. I ended up grounding the antenna (even though it says it does not need it and my SWR is at 1.2-1.3. Brother about 10 miles as the crow flies can only hear my roger beeps, but to be fair he is on a ham radio so his antennas aren't made for CB freq.

Gelir gelmez heyecanla bağlantıları kurdum. Sonucu çok merak ediyordum. Aynı anda iki anten takılı olacağı için kıyaslama şansım vardı. Swr maalesef çok yüksek çıktı. 3.5 den fazlaydı... diğer antenden bol bol sinyal gelirken bundan hiç bir şey duyulmuyordu. Ben sunuda belirtmek isterim. Denediğim yer yerden 5 metre yükseklikte... Konumdan mi yoksa antenden mi oldu bilemiyorum.

An dieser Antenne ist ein optimales einstellen der Stehwelle unmöglich. Selbst mit einem Profi Messgerät bekommt man keine vernünftige Stehwelle hin. Sorry aber diese Antenne geht gar nicht. Bitte vom Markt nehmen.

That antenna arrived in good packaging, is well made. The description is deceiving as in spite of "no ground plate required" it does need a ground plate and uses the outer layer of the coax cable as such. If you are limited in where the coax cable can be set you will end up with a useless antenna. It receives quite well though but any wire will do.

ottima antenna, abbastanza performante, facile da montare e installare non voluminosa. bisogna metterla nel punto piu' alto, e rispettare la lunghezza del cavo iscritta nel foglio istruzioni.
