As a person who doesn't heal well, this product is a godsend because it heals quickly without irritation. My skin loves panthenol, glycerin, allantoin and this delivers it in spades. I was skeptical about its onion bulb extract but it is really effective. I had a year old biopsy scar that didn't heal and after a few weeks of just twice a week usage, the scar tissue is starting to fade and the scar is better blending into my skin! It works even better on fresh wounds. I just wish it didn't have fragrance but it's not too intrusive and doesn't harm the healing qualities. The gel is lightweight and easy to spread. About to order more to stock up! It's invaluable. Please don't change the ingredients Derma-E and great job. When I was researching the various ingredients used in scar gels, I found Allantoin to be at the top of the list in terms of effectiveness – it's hydrating and epithelizing / helps to grow new skin cells. I was excited to see that this natural skincare brand, DERM-E, carries a scar gel with both Allantoin and the emollient Panthenol, which binds to water but also seals in the cracks in the skin, keeping that water locked in. The combination of these ingredients together WORKS, at least in this DERM-E product. I bought this immediately after a dental surgery that left two cuts down the sides of my mouth – worried about scarring on my face, I began rubbing this in the spots as soon as it arrived. The scars never formed and the cuts healed very quickly. I use the gel similarly on other, older scars and raised area in every single one greatly reduced after just a few applications. Likewise, after I burned my finger, this gel calmed the burn area in the immediate aftermath when I couldn't find an aloe-based product I was searching for. I highly recommend having this product on hand, and love DERM-E's line of organic products with simple and non-GMO ingredients.

This works pretty good compared to other expensive brands. It doesn’t fully remove the scar but makes it lighter. Also, you can’t really see results if used once. You have to be consistently using it to see any progress at all. A little goes a long way so little is more. It’ll also last a lot longer if only using little by little. The price for this and its efficiency is so worth it.

Regular use of the product very much lifts the pigment and helps a scratch blend with its surrounding skin. Obviously, you still need to be vigilant about sunscreen and reapplication of it on the area, which can be tough if a child gets impatient or shy about it. A recommended lactic acid product seemed to really augment the blending affect. It was remarkably blended the next day, and I'm not sure how to explain it; then pigment picked back up later in the week. Imo the lactic exfoliant may be great at evening out tone and may've even contributed to more even tanning of the surrounding area to match. It's a nice combo to consider, and this gel makes the biggest healing impact as you continue to prioritize sunscreen reapplication over the months and months of its process to even out.

I bought for my surgical scars. It does have a strong scent, so if you are sensitive be forewarned. It's also a gel and not creamy/moisturising in that sense at all. I believe it's helped one of my scars shrink a little, but I'll wait a few weeks to rate it again, as it's only been a few days. I am not displeased and expect no miracles. We'll see! It did come pristine and is in a plastic jar, so easily seals in any extra. edited to add: I received it in early Dec. It's now December 15, so I'll rate it again in Jan or Feb. It's helping in soothing any residual irritation or redness on my one incision on my chest, and reducing the size of the scar of the incision on my neck. You must take note of the instructions on the package. It only began to work after I began rubbing it in. Usually I let creams and lotions onto my skin without violently rubbing it in, but this gel really does well if you massage it into the scar. It sounds bizarre but it seems to be working. I'll check back in the New Year.

BUY THIS! I recently had two complete knee replacements. I used this after my first surgery and had great results of minimizing my scar. I ran out of this and tried a cheaper and then a more expensive scar gel, but didn’t find the results as I did with Derma. Needless to say, I trashed the other two and went right back to Derma and started to see the great results on the second surgery as I did using this on the first surgery.

I've had hormonal acne since I was a teenager, and teenager me though popping/scraping would be a great idea. I've used various skin care products in hopes of lightning or permanently removing them. I've noticed a difference immediately on my light scars. Applying it in the morning after washing my face and at night after cleaning my body. I love how cooling, light, non sticky feeling, and how quickly this absorbs into the skin. The light smell is a plus, it smells good but not strong which is great for my sensitive nose. The product is very thick so there's no need to use a lot at once, considering how quickly it absorbs it makes the application easy and smooth. I prefer doing a light layer once and then doing it again. I'm crossing my fingers that it works on my old scars that are very dark and stubborn. I'll post an update on those. I wish the jar was larger but the price for the the size is fair considering how quickly it works.

buy a salicylic acid serum instead. this didnt do anything. it turned yellow after two weeks of use.

La crema llegó antes de lo esperado en un paquete en perfectas condiciones y debidamente conservado. Buscaba una crema natural, con la menor cantidad de sustancias químicas posibles que me ayudase con las manchas de la cara principalmente. La cantidad son 120 gr de una sustancia con aspecto gelatinoso, incolora e inolora. Me costó acostumbrarme al tacto al principio, pero la piel la absorbe muy rápido y no queda pegajosa ni se nota. Con un uso constante, una vez al día por la noche, he empezado a ver resultados a las 4 semanas de que las manchas que tenía de sol o incluso alguna que otra marca iban clareando dejándome un tono más uniforme. No hace falta mucho producto, ya que se extiende bien por su densidad; así que espero que dure mucho.

Good and moisturising,not sticky and light. It absorbs pretty fast,but i haven't noticed any difference in spots. I have acne spots and did not work for me. Truly sorry for this product,but i recommend the brand for other products

Pros : 1) Use this religiously and diligently. 2) Also depends on your scar’s condition which can take weeks to see proven results. Cons : 1) Might feel a bit tacky if gel is spread thickly. Do remember to spread it evenly onto skin.

Seems to actually reduce long lasting scars.
