I connected this to a can of R12 and then connected a gauge to it.

Leaked at the swivel joints
Leaked immediately at the swivel joints. Unfortunately that meant it was no suitable for the mini split system pressure test I needed to run.

Poor construction
Poor quality. Push-on lo side connector very poor construction it will leak if connected to a/c system.

Seems to be well made - and most importantly, leak free.
This device can, in a big way, help reduce the refrigerant that is lost during a charge of your A/C system.All your hoses should have this or a similar valve.Thanks,
