We've been using Rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film for several years now, and are really happy with the quality of the product. We use it for our front door, and I was skeptical it would hold up with our wild dogs constantly jumping up on the glass/privacy film. We've never had to replace it due to damage or product defects. Instead, we've found that we really enjoy the flexibility to change the style of our door using different privacy film patterns without a lot of work or effort. I love that there is no residue left behind on the glass even after years of the privacy film in the Florida sun. It comes off even easier than it is to apply (which is very easy to begin with). My only complaint is that I wish the company will consider making a version that has a 19" width, as that is the standard glass size in my doors. Right now, I either have to go with the smaller width film and leave a sizable gap on either side of it, OR cut the entire thing to size, which is easier said than done with two doors. Either way, it's worth it. Note on the "WAVE" pattern, I had thought the waves would run left to right (like ocean waves in their pictures). Instead, the pattern runs top to bottom. Not a deal breaker, but might be for some people.

I read lots of reviews and finally purchased a roll. Upon receiving it, I was skeptical as the pattern looked very fake and there is zero view looking outside as well as from the outside looking in. I was hoping to be able to still see between the faux blinds. I went with it anyway and covered the windows. They look fantastic! From the outside, it truly looks like mini blinds. The inside looks like the windows are frosted and does not look like mini blinds. They have an edgy, sophisticated, updated look to them. I keep the curtains open day and night because the light does come through giving a pleasant feel. I do miss not being able to see out the windows and my cats hate not being able to see people coming to the front door. I guess it’s a give and take decision but my windows look amazing! I’m buying another roll! Installation was super easy. Take exact measurements of my windows. I mixed a half tsp of dish soap in a spray bottle with 4 cups of water. Spray over clean windows just enough to wet them and spread with my hand. Use a small bit of Gorilla tape to pull the back corner of the adhesive from the decal and slowly spread it down the window while smoothing out bubbles with a rubber spackling knife. I easily did it alone. Fun project to do while listening to a good book on tape!

Posting now since it’s been a year since I put the film up. PROS: It’s pretty easy to put up, and easy to shift into place (I used a wetting agent I bought but they say water works great?). I bought the matt finish; it looks very pretty, neat and clean from the inside, and looks like actual blinds from the outside. A big plus is that it’s complete privacy; 100% private during the day, and when it’s dark outside (and the rooms lit up) it acts like a prefabbed privacy window, being able to see only shapes & shadows but no inside details. CON: started lifting along the edges after being on a year (possibly sooner since I don’t go into that room often). I’d buy again since it’s a good value, but would really only consider it for rooms that aren’t in the forefront of the home or spaces less utilized.

I purchased this window film for a new house where my kitchen window faced directly into my neighbors yard. I received the product shipped in a very firm tube so there were no folds which is important as folds will prevent the product from laying completely flat. Keep the product in the tube to protect the product until you are ready to install and you will get great results. The design is fantastic as you cannot see through it as the mini-blind design is achieved by a shadowing in the design. From outside it looks like closed mini blinds or a pleated shade. You can see a shadow of a person if a room is bright and it is dark outside, but that because this product is made to allow for filtered light to enter the room. I liked the look of the product so much in addition to the kitchen windows I installed this product the the lower portion of a double hung window in my bathroom directly over my tub and in windows that were in my garage so that would-be thieves cannot look to see what I keep in the garage and add privacy as well. A couple of helpful tips if you have never used this type of product for a professional look. 1. Do not try to splice for a wide window as no mater what you do you will see a splice line. Order the width so it is wide enough and long enough to fit the glass in each pain you are applying this film to, the look you will get is worth the few extra dollars. 2. Cleaning the window is not something to skip, a clean window will ensure the best adhesion. 3. Soapy water is your friend do not be stingy when spraying the window with this mix as the soapy water helps you to slide the film around on the window for placement, this is especially important with this blind design as you want to get the 'blades' straight to really sell the look. 4. The squidgy is not an optional tool! Do not be penny foolish, get a Squidgy as it is what helps get the air out. Working bubbles to the closest edge in small sections and teeny tiny bubbles (size of head of pin) tend to disappear once the window glass heats up. Speaking of heat, I would recommend not trying to apply this when the window is hot as as easier to work with before the glass heats up as hot glass dries the soapy water too quickly. A design idea to really make this look like a custom window covering is apply a piece of molding that is slightly winder than the window across the top of the window to give the window the expensive 'top down - bottom up blinds' at a fraction of the cost.

What a super innovation! I bought this after seeing a friends windows. So long as you take the time to measure, then measure again and cut with a very sharp craft blade on a suitable surface along a steel rule (a craft blade will take slithers of plastic rulers off rendering the ruler ‘not straight’), it will then fit to your window perfectly. It’ll be easier if you have an extra set of hands for application, but I did it on my own and got a perfect finish, so it’s fairly easy to put up, depending of course on the size of window. Before applying I offered the cut up to the window to make sure of fit. Then it’s just taking off the dust free backing and applying copious amount of sprayed water. Yes, just water! No sticky backing, so it can all be taken down if and when required with no sticky marks left behind. The more water used in application the easier it is to move and fit. Then with a store card and a lint free cloth, working from the inside I smoothed out all the bubbles and wiped the whole thing in with the cloth. It was an immediate transformation. No one can just peer in now but it hasn’t blocked any light whatsoever, it also leaves a modern look to the windows. I’m thrilled with the outcome. Will definitely do this again if I need privacy without blocking any natural light.
