Jottings of a joiner - with basic fitting info
Bought this in the hope of getting a further insight into the magic art of kitchen fitting...as I tackle my second one in 6 years!Unfortunately, it's very basic. Sketches by the author seem to take up quite a bit of the space in this slim volume (e.g. I don't really need drawings of what a hand mitre saw v electric one looks like)...So, I have gone back to Dennis Dixon's book: 'Planning and Fitting Kitchens' .Although It's a little long in the tooth - it does have all the info and pics one really need to successfully complete a new kitchen project.

A must read for those thinking of fitting a kitchen!
I have been considering fitting a new kitchen for sometime now but haven't yet found the confidence to get started. That was until my wife bought me this book. An easy to read guide with step by step hints and tips for all possibilities including some great pictures and diagrams. This book really is a must have if you are thinking of doing it yourself. I hope to see more step by step home improvement guides from this author in the future.
