Exellent
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Evans Clear 300 Snare Side Drumhead delivers excellent sound quality and reliable performance. It provides a crisp, bright snare response with great sensitivity, making ghost notes and rolls sound clean and controlled. The 14 inch size fits perfectly and the clear design adds to its professional look. It is durable and holds tuning well, even with regular playing. This drumhead is a great choice for drummers who want a consistent, high quality snare sound and dependable performance.

It fit my 1964 vintage Slingerland snare drum perfectly!
This is a quality made clear bottom head for snare drums! Even though my snare drum is 61 years old, this clear head fit my drum perfectly! I needed to order new snare wires and a snare throw off lever for it and I installed these after installing the new clear head. The new snare wires fit excellent over the clear head, my snare drum sounds great and I'm ready to go! I recommend this Evans clear bottom snare drum head to replace a dried out or damaged bottom head on your snare drum!

My go to snare reso
I've been a drummer/percussionist for most of my life and I've tried several different heads. I was a Remo guy, an Aquarian guy, and even an Attack guy for a short while but all of these heads, though great seemed to be missing something, or have caveats that I had to live with. If I wanted a big sound, I couldn't have great projection, if I wanted great projection, I couldn't have bottom end and if I wanted durability, I had to sacrifice tone. It wasn't until I saw a great local band with a HUUUUUGE kick drum sound, that I found out after asking, "try these Evans heads". I did, and I haven't looked back since. These are some of the best, most easily tuned and durable heads you can get. I use these genera heads in combination with G2 batter heads and I get an awesome, huge tone with just the right amount of attack and bottom end. (tuned correctly of course.) This has been my go to bottom snare head since the 90s. If you want versatility and ability to get a nice fat snare sound, pair this up with some Pure Sound thirty strand snares and you'll have one of the best snare tones around and still have a nice sensitive, reactive snare drum.

Not what expected
I mean, it wasn’t what I expected you show full snare drum so I’m thinking I’m getting a snare drum but now it’s just a head and now that I read the title, I see it but like the picture should explain that it’s something else and not the full center, and then you don’t have any other pictures to show this

Excellent snareside head
Changed out the stock reso head from my ddrum birch snare. Great reso head to replace stock heads. Very nice crisp and controlled pop when tuned right.

It's GRRRRRRREAT!!!
I just bought a Yamaha birch kit, and my first order of business was to change out all of the stock heads and resonators. I replaced them all with Pinstripe clear bottoms and Ambassador X heads. ...Well, *almost* all. The stock snare sounded "dead". Fortunately, I placed the Evans snare-side skin on first -- I found it amazingly resilient given how thin it is. I was able to tune it waaaayyyy up, and I mean, way, way up!, and when I tapped the head, I was impressed! So much so that I left the stock Yamaha head on and left the Ambassador snare head in the box it came in. I usually buy chrome snares to achieve a snap just like that! I'm eventually gonna change out my other snare bottoms (a Pearl brass shell piccolo and a Ludwig chrome) with these babies. Great product! A small investment for a product that does the job well!!!

Evans Snare Side
Its Evan's! I'm trying out the 300 being thicker than the 200 I have on now and the 300 sounds great. Fattened up my snare sound which is what I was going for.
