Vexilar FSDV20DT Fish Scout Double Vision with DTD

Love this double vision. Can't say anything bad about it...even when fish weren't biting it was very entertaining to at least be able to watch them swim around. Just getting it out for the summer season, saw all kinds of fish off the end of my dock yesterday...have a feeling it's going To be a fun summer with the camera! Would not get a vexilar without the camera! Just save the extra money for the cam, it's so worth it! It gets my non fishing wife out in the fish house everytime....she loves watching the fish, even bought me a new fish house so she was more comfortable. She is an electronics and gadget freak so this was all right up her alley, and we spend so much more time together, she really enjoys it. We did buy a rotating tripod with remote so she can set her depth and just spin the camera with the touch of a button....highly recommend this add on with the camera! We just picked tripod up at our local sporting goods/ fleet store. The only complaint now In the spring with no fish house, the screen does Have a fair share of glare, wish it had a shield or something to help with that. I can jerry rig something up to help with this....but wish it came with something nice. Battery has lasted for many hours, no complaints on that....longest time out was 7 hours vexilar and about 3 or 4 with the camera running. Overall a great purchase and plan to get my money's worth all seasons of the year!

I purchased this unit in february 2013 its a great unit I do not use the fish camera as much as I use the flasher if I did it over again I would of only bought the flasher its a little on the pricey side but you do get both units in one package the one thing I do not like about the unit is that it is pretty heavy other than that its great I have used both the flasher and camera simultaneously for around 7 or 8 hours on one charge I would recommend this to someone who likes to take time and look at the structure you are fishing with the camera but once you get good at reading the flasher the camera is just in the way and extra weight all in all I'm glad I bought the unit but I could definitely live without the camera and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the weight the unit works flawlessly definitely invest in a flasher you won't be sorry
