i was a bit skeptic about purchausing these markers, i intially wanted the copic sketches however those are really expensive and i am still a newbie using these markers so i didn't want to spend so much and i had seen people reviewing these markers as a cheaper alternative and due the price i thought these markers werent going to be good but i was way off, these markers are amazing and do similar job to the copics, i highly recommend these as starters, i have used several different markers and i find that nothing compares to these, i also like the fact they came in a case with dividers and also came with a swatch sheet on top of that they provided a plastic cover to put between your pages to avoid bleeding onto the next page. That is the one downside to using these markers however this problem occurs with all alochol markers and can't be avoided. the only way to avoid bleeding try using marker paper. i used the cass art marker paper and no bleeding but i also love using a sketchbook and how i use the markers with that is avoid using markers on both sides of a page as it will bleed and ruin the look to the other drawing. The other downside is which is my own fault is i didnt't realise ohuhu provide different tips, i prefer brush nibs and fine tip these are chisel and fine, i have no issue with using these but i would have prefered brush tips and its easier to use. Also at the time these nibs were not replaceable and nor refillable but i do now believe there newer collection of markers provide both of those things and not sure if you can do it to these markers. OVERALL RECOMMENDED PRODUCT FOR A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE. also the range of tones and colours is just amazing.

I’ve used promarkers in the past but can firmly say Ohuhu are my new favourite marker brand. The range of colours in this set are fantastic and suitable for many different projects and artistic styles. The only thing lacking are skin tones. The markers come with a fine tip which is great for smaller detailed areas, and the chisel tip which is perfect for covering larger areas. The markers blend really well, and the coverage is as good as, if not better, than any other marker I’ve tried. The set also includes an colourless blender to help with blending. Although most markers reflect the colour coded cap, some are way off so I’d recommend creating a colour swatch before you get started. Ohuhu have included colour swatch charts in the pack. However, if the type of paper you use is very different to the paper charts provided, I’d recommend creating your own to get a true reflection of the colour. The case the markers come in is very sturdy and likely to last a long time. It is divided into 4 compartments, each holding approx 30 markers. A slight frustration is that the pens come arranged in no particular order and appear a bit messy so I’d take some time to group similar colours together to make it easier to pick out colours when using them. Fantastic markers at a great price!

These markers are great for the price! The colours are vibrant and go down well, and they have a really nice look to them when dried. I use them for colouring and am really pleased with the finished look they give. You can’t really see the pen strokes unless you look very closely. There’s also a degree of layering you can do to get slightly different shades, though this works better with some combinations than others. There is some bleed on paper not meant for markers, and I would suggest having another piece of paper or two under your sheet to prevent any staining of surfaces. You can also see the colours on the other side, so keep that in mind if you use them for colouring like I do. Using careful, small strokes and not holding the pen to the paper for too long in one spot helps. My only complaint is that the colours are random, which means getting a complete set is difficult and you may need two or three bags to get a good selection of shades. Other than that, I’m very happy with them and will be buying in the future for more colours. I’d also say that while none of mine were dried out, the fact that these are alcohol markers means they’re pretty easy to revive with some rubbing alcohol, which is a bonus in my books!

I wish I'd bought them earlier! These pens are a game changer for any artist or illustrator. I spent a lot of time looking into markers before buying any and I had a budget. So ohuhu were the perfect mid range brand that allowed affordability and quality. I've used them a lot since buying them and can't speak highly enough of them. The only thing I wish I did was buy a bigger pack. There are so many colours in this pack that allow me to create vibrant illustrations that look extremely professional. They also take pencils well over the top if you want to add some finer details to your work. Finally, they blend beautifully allowing for stunning transitions between colours. If you are looking to get into alcohol markers you needn't look further that these.

My grand daughter requested these markers. They have such true colors indicated by the lids of the pens. The ink flow is good and it provides good blending.

These are a set of alcohol markers. Purchased as a birthday present for coursework for teen. Wrong item received (160 Marker set, actually received 159 pens) from Amazon. Ohuhu (USA) arranged, (via Amazon UK) for 200 Marker to be sent and advised us to keep first set in view of imminent birthday! I didnt think this would happen(... mybad!) But within 2 days 200 Marker set was delivered via Amazon. V happy teenager (and siblings, who were given the 160 set). So... customer service AAAAAA**** + & + ... Amazon and Ohuhu are a great combination. Also impressed by Ohuhu's accompaying leaflet with the Markers, offering replacement for any dried up/missing pens. Storage: sturdy bag, well suited for protecting pens. Can lay it on its side for storage(to keep both nibs of marker moist) or use handle/shoulder strap to carry about. Markers: Swatches done. So all pens (360ish) opened & tested. All fine. 200 pen set same as 160, but xtra colours. Pens are comfortable to hold. Grey ring around pen body, above cap indicates point nib. Colour numbers printed on both cap tops. Swatch cards with colour numbers and names printed on (tho ^) Colours of tops may not always b accurate but teen advises swatch on paper u intend to colour on is the right way to go^ :)) Teens remarks whilst doing swatches 'ahhhh', 'ooooh' n 'pretty... ' if this helps any1? :)) Both sets are dual ended: fine tip & chisel... (not brush, though i think Ohuhu do have a brush set). Teen chose these markers after watching utube comparisons and video of Artist Lindsey at 'Frugal Crafter' (on utube) teen agrees with Frugal Crafter's assessment/opinions but PLEASE NOTE teen has limited knowledge of personal, continued use of more expensive marker brands(Frugal Crafter does tho.) Teens teacher however was v impressed with colour range/application/blending ability & vibrancy of Ohuhu's markers and agreed that the price was v v reasonable* for the quality they appear to be at present, in their new condition.(*family put together for 200 set after looking at many others). Pens long term use is untested by us, personally(March 2021 purchase)but is discussed in Frugal Crafters Utube vid where she has asked/been advised Ohuhu is looking to add refils/nibs/individual pen purchases to their range in the future. This video also states Nibs of pens ArE reversable...i.e take out n turn around ... though i've not had to do this/seen this demonstrated. Teen is v happy, producing v vibrant artwork. Siblings are using markers for colouring and they are proving to be sturdy. Teen/siblings are interacting amicably as elder shows youngters colouring techniques etc with blending pen included in both sets. V pleased with purchase and service. Service not impacted at all by company not being based in UK. YES, we did receive 160 Markers free because of inconvenience and iminent birthday date, we are independant buyers. We did pay for 200 Marker set and feel that, should there be any problem with the product we would definitely not hesitate to approach Ohuhu to ask for help/replacement of any component.

Gute Stifte mit großer Auswahl und guter Deckkraft. Die Stifte sind nicht wie auf dem Bild angeordnet, sondern kommen durcheinander an. Nach dem ich mir die Mühe gemacht habe die Farbkarten zu bemalen und die Stifte zu sortieren, sieht das Ergebnis so aus, wie auf dem Bild. Die Stifte sind solide Alkoholmarker für einen Guten Preis. Zum 160er Paket wird eine kleine Folie zum unterlegen mitgeliefert, die gegen das durchbluten bei dünnen Blätter helfen soll. Beide Spitzen funktioneren soweit ganz gut und die Farben sind schön kräftig. Die mitgelieferte Transporttasche sieht stabil aus und wie auf dem Bild zu erkennen, lässt sich das Innenleben problemlos herausnehmen und so auch gut auf dem Tisch lagern. Die Stifte sind in Ovaler Form gehalten und lassen sich so gut halten. Der Nachteil an dieser Form ist, dass sie in den Abteilungen leichter hin und her rutschen können und die Reihenfolge so leichter durcheinander kommt. Die Innentasche ist in 4 Quadrate eingeteilt, so dass man die "4 Color Swatch" Farbpaletten gut voneinander trennen kann. Kommen die Stifte an Copic heran? Nein. Müssen sie für mich aber auch nicht und wer eine günstige Alternative sucht, um sich auch erstmal mit Alkoholmarkern zu beschäftigen, der kann hier gerne zugreifen.

Ces marqueurs sont très bien mais il manque des nuances de rouge. A noter qu'on peut trouver une autre marque chez Action pour beaucoup moins cher et plus de nuances.
