Has warped ever so slightly as is placed over heat pad but is really a non issue. I jazzed mine up with some camo tape and hot glued artificial ivy vine to match the aesthetic of my vivarium set up as the plane black looked a bit out of place. Hide is easy to clean and I'm sure makes my snake feel well hidden/secure and overall much more happier.
