Is it durable cause I'm a kid who breaks stuff easy but it sounds good

Hello kid-who-breaks-stuff, as I mentioned in my post we have only had it for about a month. So far - so good.

What type of material makes up the wand?

Hard plastic. It has a matted look so from a distance it appears like wood. It is not cheap or flimsy though. My son loves it and would purchase again.

Could anyone tell me about the weight of the whole box with the wand inside? I would like to send it to a relative by post.

I'm not sure the actual weight, but it was still pretty light with the wand in the box. Less than a pound.

It is turned on/off by flicking it. I also believe there is an on/off switch as well.
