Works with Bluetti E3BA
The reason I wanted this coffee maker was to be able to make a cup of coffee on a road trip or camping using my Bluetti E3DA. Just received it and tried it. It drew only 345 watts from the Bluetti and heated the water to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. I had a few Prime CC points so the unit cost me about $18. Some things to note: I used more than one scoop of coffee because I like my coffee strong. Also make sure the sprayer that sprays the hot water over the coffee grounds is centered to cover all of the coffee grounds. The first cup I made, the sprayer was off center and the grounds did not get completely soaked and the coffee was weak. It is a cheap coffee maker but you get what you pay for. But for my purposes it does make a hot cup of coffee using a small solar generator and the coffee is hot and tastes fine. For this reason I give it 5 stars.

Quick coffee
Makes a quick cup of coffee when you need speedy caffeine, Well-made and uses #1 filters which are widely available. Not the cup of coffee one savors in the morning but the necessary, quick caffeine fix.

Single cup coffee maker
This coffee maker does not have automatic turn off. The heating element will burn out if you don't remember to turn it off. Not a good feature

Not Quality, not worth the cheap price.or should I say the price I paid.
Cheap, I could not figure out why I got no coffee, you learn there is a handle inside which you have to turn for every cup. It is a bad design. Coffee does not taste well, it tastes like water. I used it for tea and it does make a good cup of tea. But I still have to turn inside a handle. It is not worth the money.

One huge, glaring design error!
I am 65 years old and have owned at least eight different single cup coffee makers. I loved all of them. Most were Mr. Coffee, but there was a few other brand names. They all had one thing in common: when the water reservoir was finished heating, they automatically shut off. This coffee maker has a power switch that you snap after the water's in and your coffee is nested with a filter. But once the brewing is done, IT STAYS ON!!! I don't know if this is dangerous, when someone makes their coffee and heads to work, leaving an empty house with an electric device still on. For whatever reason, 1-cup coffee makers are going the way of the dodo. I strongly recommend you look for a different coffee maker. This one has house fire written all over it.

Best unit available on a budget!
OK, so for $14, I wasn't expecting (or demanding) that this machine cleaned my deck or did my taxes... just a straight-up single cup of coffee. Great little unit, does the job nicely. Brew time is under 5 minutes, which is pretty typical of all brands, and heat and flavor were both exactly as expected. I usually park my mug on a plug-in mug warmer (also from Salton), and it's a winning combination. And did I mention: ridiculously cheap in price? If you don't need bells and whistles, you literally can't go wrong with this machine. Other than lacking an automatic shut-off (you need to manually flip the power switch), it's the best $14 I ever spent that didn't involve dealing with a barista. Recommended!

Excellent petit appareil
