As you need more bread, you can slide the overlay of the bag down the length Outside of the Bread Container, keeping excess air out.

**Q: can I freeze the loaf if bread in the plastic container?**
A: We do not recommend freezing the container as the material will become brittle and might crack if dropped.

**Q: Would this fit a Sunbeam giant loaf?**
A: The bread buddy will only fit a standard sandwich loaf. Hope this helps.

**Q: Does the holder have holes on the actual body? I am looking to put sandwiches in and place in cooler while out on the lake.**
A: No holes. Seals tight.

I've seen a lot of reviews were people complain about stale bread, you leave the bread in the bag slide it into the bread buddy and fold the open end of the bag over the out side of the container and put the lid on. It keeps the bread from getting crushed. It keeps the bread fresh. The holes allow the bag to slide in and out easily. And you just pull the bag down as you us the bread.
