Note: Some of Stant thermostats that are sold are without the necessary gasket. It is important to NOT use the existing gasket, even if an existing Thermostat gasket looks fine, because of slight variances in diameters and the mating surface on the Thermostat housing. I used this gasket with a new Stant thermostat, (purchased separately), and my vehicle engine runs cooler while allowing the heat to begin much quicker. I'm not associated in any way with Stant.
