Delicious and creamy!
Delicious creamy wheat cereal! This farina wheat is ground slightly finer, so it cooks quicker and has a creamy texture. You can cook it quickly in the microwave or stovetop by following the easy instructions on the can. The ingredients are: Enriched Farina, (Niacin, Reduced iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, folic Acid) Contains: Wheat. This is only offered as the original creamy wheat cereal, but you can add your own strawberries, bananas, peaches, apples, blueberries, honey or nuts for a variety of different flavors. I cook my creamy wheat cereal in the microwave with reduced power and I like it with a little sugar, goat milk and a banana if I have one. This can is 63 oz (3 lbs 15 oz) with 55 total servings. It's delicious and I definitely feel there's value for your money in this purchase!

Great Product, Different Serving Size
While replenishing stockpile, I noticed not only did the packaging change, but so did serving size. I saw "55 servings" compared to the old 36 servings. Same size tin and weight, so took a look at the back.It appears they re-adjusted serving size, which is fine, because now a double serving is 1/3 cup, which is what I've found works best with 2 cups water, anyway.I also noticed the recipe/ingredients changed. Not sure what to think about enriched wheat vs straight up wheat, but I'll try it out. I noticed they added folic acid, which I thought wheat naturally had, anyway. Maybe they're just trying to display the nutrients you get from wheat? If it's extra, that's fine; I don't get enough folic acid in my diet.Anyway, as long as the product continues to meet expectations in flavor, quality, longevity, and stays reasonably priced I'm good.I recommend 1/3rd cup farina to 2 cups water. Bring water, frozen veggies, bacon crumble, and an egg (poached style) to boil. Whisk in farina, making sure not to break egg. Take off heat, and coat top with a thin layer of shredded cheese of your liking. Let stand 15 minutes (10 minimum). Serve.Additionally, you can mix in cayenne pepper, paprika, fennel seeds, and rosemary if you want a spicier, more aromatic experience.

liked the product not the end result
PRO:1: tasted good. what you expect from cream of wheat.2: easy to make3: a lot of food in can. approx 3/4 full.CON:1: bought 2 no 10 cans of it. both were badly damaged. because of this i could not use them for long term food.2: i don't blame the company but cream of wheat turns to cement when cooled. you have to make sure you clean the dishes fully before they are put in dishwasher.CONCLUSION:i would buy it again. like the product but because of the denting of all the cans when delivered i cannot use for long term storage and wont be buying them again. i would like to but cannot eat that much at once. i would like to see the company offer a mylar packaging option.
