So this is an "After Six Years Of Use" review. I wanted to mount it in an ammo can, so I moved the fuse to the front, and moved the rectifier and heat sink to the side of the unit. Then I mounted it in an ammo can. I had to file off the top of the fuse holder and remove some plastic from the + and - connectors on the front panel; I had to do that in order to close the lid of the ammo can. I added various cords and connectors for a wide variety of applications. I paired it with a VHF/UHF radio in another ammo can (with a battery pack) for a great disaster prep radio combination! I've been using this setup as a VHF/UHF base station on top of my HF radio cabinet for 6 years. No complaints, no issues. It's been a fantastic little power supply, and I've even used it to power my Yaesu FT-817 HF transceiver on many occasions.
