Absolutely love this particular press. Aesthetically stunning. The mesh is one of its many great features. Not only is it is fine, turns upward in a way that prevents finer grounds from escaping through ill-fitting sides as in previous brands I’ve used. The glass is also noticeably thicker. Great handle and snug lid. Coffee stays warm longer. The base is just a tad too broad – but this is just being a little too picky. Everything about this press is impressive. A great buy for the frugal since it is built to last.
