Steve Nash has had a storied career playing in the National Basketball Association. In this short basketball biography book, we will learn about how Steve became the storied point guard that he is remembered as. Starting first with his childhood and early life, we'll learn about Steve prior to entering the NBA, his time in the NBA, along with his impact on the communities of the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers. Steve Nash went down in the NBA records as one of the greatest point guards to ever play the game among the other greats like John Stockton, Jason Kidd, and Gary Payton. This is the perfect basketball book to pick up for yourself, your sports fan, or as an affordable gift to a friend who loves basketball Here is a preview of what is inside this Steve Nash biography book: Childhood and Early Life Fondness Towards Soccer The High School and College Years High School Dominance in British Columbia Next Stop on The Road to Greatness: Santa Clara Junior Year: A Breakthrough Season Senior Year: On Top of the College Basketball World The Rookie Campaign Trade to the Dallas Mavericks The Return to Phoenix Leaving Phoenix for Los Angeles Steve Nash's Personal Life Philanthropic Efforts Soccer’s Influence on Steve Steve Nash's Legacy An excerpt from this Steve Nash biography: With all of his accomplishments during the course of his long career, which has spanned from the mid 1990’s to present day 2014, one thing that Steve Nash never did was play outside his means. Nash has never been one to talk trash since he did his talking through his play on the court. Perhaps the biggest thing that Steve Nash will leave to Phoenix, basketball and the world as a whole is first and foremost that he was one of the classiest players in the NBA and a true example of good sportsmanship. Secondly, Steve Nash is a perfect example of hard work and perseverance. Nash decided as a child that he was going to play in the NBA. Yet, nobody gave him a chance since he was just a skinny kid from British Columbia. The big colleges did not want him. Despite the numerous rejections he received from some of the notable basketball schools in the nation, he persevered and continued to play. When he arrived at Santa Clara he continued to work hard and made it to the NBA, never giving up on his goal. Steve Nash’s life and career is a true testament to what hard work and dedication can do for you. When all is said and done, Steve Nash will be remembered as not just a great basketball player, but as a man as well. Steve Nash is a dedicated philanthropist who gave and continues to give back to his city. He will be remembered for the way he beat all of the odds not only by making it to the NBA, but for how hard he continued to work once he made it to the NBA. Steve Nash will be remembered not only for setting records, but also for the way he played to earn those records. You don’t have to be a fan of the Suns, Mavs, or Lakers to be a supporter of his, either. His record and sportsmanship speaks volumes and he deserves our respect. This book takes a look at his early years, explaining why his family moved from South Africa to North America, and continues through his high school, college, and professional basketball years. Some of the information you may know, but most you may not. We get bits and pieces of trivia from the sportscasters covering the games, but nothing like this, nothing chronological and peppered with clips of his personal life and endeavors. When I finished the book, I thought how it read much like ESPN’s segment special, 30 for 30. Honestly, this is the perfect script. It’s compelling. We see how this NBA great has matured through the years, both on and off the court, yet how he still embodies the same admirable qualities that got him where his is today. No doubt the author is a loyal fan of sports; his careful attention to detail and enthusiasm show in every chapter. Steve Nash: The Inspiring Story of One ofBasketball’s Greatest Point Guards is a first rate biography and deserving of all 5 stars. Review: An Inspirational Journey - This book does a wonderful job of highlighting the journey of Steve Nash from his early life, to Santa Clara University, to the NBA. It is engaging, well-written, and full of interesting information. I particularly loved how inspirational the story was! I would recommend it to any fans of Steve Nash or basketball in general.

Great story!
A lot of people forgot or discredit what Nash has done in his legendary career and this book definitely serves as a reminder to just how great Nash was all throughout his career.

Avoid This Steve Nash Book
Clayton Geoffreys presents a quick look at Steve Nash's career that lacks depth. The writing is clear but there is little solid research and even fewer key facts. This is a quickly written, very brief and ill thought out pamphlet that does little to tell one Nash's inspiring story. If you know little on Nash, this is the book for you. If you would like an in depth look at the court wizard buy other books on the Phoenix Suns. This books tells one very little about Nash's development over the years and it ignores many of his key accomplishments.

Kids book
I was expecting it was a more substantial book. I did not notice is was only a few pages. Cute kids book but nothing more.

Bof bof
Se lis en 20 minutes, quelques répétitions, pas vraiment le livre que j'attendais. Une sorte de résumé extrêmement court de sa carrière.
